Wonderful Flavor!

Hello Italy!
When we were it Italy and we sat for aperitif hour (when in Rome, right) they served these little crackers. I had to go to a shop in Florence to find them. I brought them home and to my delight they were here to purchase! SO SO GOOD. So many flavors too! Taste of Italy and love them!

Great for Taralli lovers
If you like Taralli, then you should give these a try. The cheese and pepper flavors are subtle and not over powering. I enjoy them as a change from the standard Mitica Taralli.

It might have been a bad batch
I like taralli and wanted to try a new Cacio E Pepe variety. But about 50% of the taralli in the package I purchased verged on overcooked, being a darker brown, and slightly bitter. The lighter (assuming correctly baked) ones were very tasty. Looks like a quality control issue to me.

Ok not great
Flavor was good. Freshness ok. Texture was a bit chalky, not dry and hard like a snack pretzel. Also, wasn’t particularly fond of the loose/larger twist. Not as appetizing looking as others I’ve had that are a little smaller like a miniature bagel.

These are fabulous.
I enjoyed how fresh they were and it had the perfect amount of pepper. Really very good. A bit pricey though.

Almost expired when delivered…
Purchased product with no specific time to open and eat. Did not think that when I opened them they would expire so quickly. They were a week from expiring when I opened and they tasted stale. Beware of expiration dates, return window was closed. Very disappointing.
