Surprisingly worth it
I was expecting the blue plug in that can be screwed in, RGA or whatever, I'm unsure of all the different names.Luckily, my monitor had an actual DVI input.This is much more beautiful than before.It's crisp, clear, the cable is pretty sturdy, it seems, but I've got it set up so it won't get snagged or anything.It's dense, so it's got the flexibility of a dense cord, but not too shabby.It's snug in the plug inside.Works with my 1650 GPU (forget specifics, but it's Nvidia and 8GB) and all of it looks far better than the cord I was using before.

I like to be fair reviewer. This cable did not work for my purpose, but I am giving it 5 stars. I purchased a new MSI desktop computer and wanted to keep my X-Starr 2710 monitor. The monitor only included a dvi input. It did not work. I searched the internet and found that this older monitor is difficult to connect with a passive converter display port to DVI. I tried the cable with an HP monitor with both a DVI and HDMI input. The cable worked for great for that monitor.I suggest doing research prior to buying this cable to see if your DVI monitor will work with a passive converter.

A must have if your monitor doesn't have a Display Port
Working great so far. Have an older monitor with no Display Port, and newer video cards lack VGA and even DVI outputs. Many new monitors don't even have Dissplay Ports, and HDMI ports don't lock the cable in place except by friction.
