Small colourful and very informative for young minds.
Books were a little smaller than expected but ideal for smaller hands. Five year old nephew really enjoyed looking through the pages by himself and then reading them with me. Colourful pictures and not too much writing for smaller hands minds

Great anthology of books.
These are amazing- Usborne anthologies generally are. They are great value for money and are great fact books. Lots of schools tend to stock these for home reading. Hold my children's interest a lot more. Easy to understand and well presented.

Perfect reading material for children who relate better to facts than fiction
Bought for our 6 year old grandson who was not engaging with the content of his schools reading scheme. These books have turned him from a very reluctant reader doing everything he could to avoid reading at home into a confident and eager one in less than a term. Thoroughly recommended.

Unlike some reviews before us, we received both Nature and Science sets - 20 books. These sets come without a box, like some other Usborne Beginners sets, but considering the price, it's ok. My 7yo son, who is normally not a big fan of reading, actually enjoys reading Usborne Beginners books aloud and can take one to read even without any nagging.
