Very sharp drill bit easy to use has no problem cutting through aluminum. For the money I can't see how anything could beat this drill bit. The protective case is a big plus too.

This step drill bit is solidly built, made from good material, and works exactly as expected. It cuts cleanly and handles plastic with ease—I used it while building an outdoor electric wire‑organization box, and it performed beautifully.

This step bit cut through 1/4” thick steel and and 1/8” stainless like butter. I was very impressed.

I used this step drill to enlarge the arbor hole in a circular saw blade from 5/8" to 3/4". Using a medium duty drill press, and with the blade clamped down, the bit did the job in under 30 seconds. It did a good job of centering itself, and produced a perfectly centered , .750" hole. The bit's cutting edge shows no sign of wear. I'm glad I bought it.

Good quality bit…runs right through metal. Definitely worth the purchase.

This is a no BS bit. I was skeptical of it due to the price. But I have been drilling multiple different size holes into a stainless still cabinet. Trying to save this bit for the larger holes I was trying to start a pilot hole with a 1/8 bit, tried titanium and cobalt bits from a major name brand, drilling slow, with lubricant and failing to get through each time. Eventually I went to using this bit from the start, no pilot hole and it cut right through. Pretty amazing for a low cost bit.
