I bought this kit to repair stitching on my leather loveseat. I needed to stitch four layers of leather back together. This kit performed superbly. The wax thread is strong and comes in a self-sealing wrapper to keep the wax from coming off while in storage. It has a good assortment of straight and curved needles, awls (for marking and punching leather), scissors, a tape measure, finger-cots and a thimble. The only negatives I found in this kit were the finger-cots and thimble were too small for my fingers (I usually wear an XL glove). Other than that, this set was well worth the cost over paying someone to repair my furniture.

For $9 this kit is pretty cool. All kinds of things you need to repair leather and it’s pretty thorough. Everything you need in one kit.

This thing is awesome. My car door was splitting at the seam and this was an easy way to repair. The leather thimble is super helpful for pushing through and I loved the curved needle. Worth the price 100%

it's a good set I've never done leather work before so really I don't know good from bad when it comes to these tools had a major problem with shipping came a week later than supposed to had.. but don't think it was the sellers fault just got lost
