Much better than the standard regulator. The stainless steel is more pricey but better quality. I had an adjustable regulator with a guage, but it didn't survive an unexpected freeze. Then I bought the standard brass regulator, but it's pressure output was lacking. This one provides a little more pressure while still in the range where it's safe for RV plumbing. A win win.
