Revotech Indoor Security POE IP Camera, HD 3MP Dome Security Camera IR Night Vision 3.6mm Lens P2P Remote View CCTV Video Cam H.265/H.264(I3012-P White)

Definitely an indoor camera, very much plastic construction. Plugged it in to a POE switch and it came to life very quickly. Interestingly, I use SADP to identify cameras on a network, and it didn't pick it up. Using a mobile CCTV testing unit I have, I could get the IP address and then go into the menu for setup. Picture quality is decent, the infra-red works well. It's let down with just how plasticky it feels, and that there's no joint coupling included in the pack to marry your network cable to the camera plug (that little twisty plastic thing with a rubber seal that you put over every cable usually on outside cameras) - I had a spare one, so used that, but it's a very loose fit. For the price - can't complain.

The camera works perfectly with Frigate and Home Assistant. Pros: - has a web interface for setting it up which is handy - quality is fairly decent in day and low light - supports h265 - provides an rtsp stream, high quality and low quality (both configurable), so very easy to consume directly (no transcoding needed) - fairly cheap / good value Cons: - tries to talk home to China a lot. Put it on a restricted subnet if you can to stop it calling home. - Has a bulky cable sticking out the back. One for if providing mains power, and an ethernet (can be PoE powered). It's about 15cm long, so not easy to hide. Would have preferred a connector in the rear of the device.

I hesitantly bought this camera not expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised by its resolution and clarity in both day and at night. However, I did find that the picture exposure and saturation required some adjustments to produce more lifelike colours. The camera also made near-constant attempts to connect to a Chinese server, which was somewhat concerning. The downloadable camera software from a OneDrive account should be avoided. Seriously, don't even risk it. Despite these easily correctable downsides, the camera has impressive picture quality for its price point and supports RTSP and ONVIF to boot. Be sure to block the cameras internet access and use a trusted NVR platform. I'm using it with Frigate NVR and have not experienced any problems.

Compré esta cámara al aparentar ser una cámara POE para exterior bien construida, de una manera similar a las Reolink, y con muchas funcionalidades (RTSP) pero a un precio muy inferior. Me gustaría destacar tres cosas: - Antes que nada comentar que he probado y configurado múltiples modelos de cámaras de muchas marcas. No he sido capaz de cambiar el usuario en la interfaz web. Por alguna razón, el usuario "admin" no tiene capacidades de administrador y no me deja crear o modificar contraseñas ni crear usuarios. - Intentando visualizar con VLC por RTSP ha sido imposible, ya que me rechaza el usuario y contraseña, creo que está relacionado con que "admin" no sea administrador. - Por último, sin capacidades de administrador es imposible hacer una restauración de fábrica por la interfaz web o la aplicación y a diferencia de todas las cámaras y productos tecnológicos en general, no cuenta con un botón de reset para hacerlo manualmente. Tampoco hay información en internet ni soporte de la empresa. Ni siquiera he podido encontrar la página web. NO RECOMIENDO A NADIE COMPRAR ESTA CÁMARA NI NINGUNA DE LA MARCA.

Puedo ver la cámara bien IOS pero en Android no funciona.

Funciona perfectamente con frigate y home assistant que es para lo que la quiero la calidad es más que aceptable tanto con luz como sin ella
