So the famed De8auer did a test on like 30 different TIMs and this one is THE number one best performing Liquid Metal, it beats the Coollaboratory Conductonaut even.Also it's an awesome price and has prime, what more could you want? Buy it already. I delidded my 8700k and used this between the IHS and die, and it lowered temps drastically. And there's a ton left over for future needs.After installing the 8700k in the socket, I then used the best thermal paste out there (that's not a liquid metal) between the IHS and Monoblock, and that's Coollaboratory's Kryonaut according to De8auer. I wouldn't use this stuff between your CPU cooler, whatever it may be, and the CPU. I'm not sure if that will be worth it.As for applying this liquid metal to whatever you're using it on.... less is more! You want to squeeze the tiniest little dot you can make with the syringe needle on this, and then spread it out with a cue tip or what have you. You do NOT want to use as much liquid metal as you do normal thermal paste. See pictures below.

I used this TIM for a delidded 7700k. It was easy to apply (I masked off the cpu wafer with tape to protect while applying to the cpu die). My average decrease was 20c on the cores under load. This may not be a "big name brand" liquid metal but I'm very pleased and think it was a major bargain for what I received. The product DOES come in a insulin needle with cap on the end for safety, so use caution when handing it. I personally think this helped only a small amount come out at a time - you don't want it spraying all over!I'd highly recommend this to anyone who's going to delid their CPU. It made a world of difference for me and now I can push 5ghz all day long and not break a sweat.

Overall good quality and efficiency. My MBP 2013 get 5 °C cooler with this thermal compound. But be careful to use it -- if you get too much liquid metal out, you may not able to get them back completely.

The media could not be loaded. Best TIM (thermal interface material) for the price.Though I cannot find definite specifications of this TIM, I will say that it does work better than all others I have tried including Coollaboratory Liquid Ultra. The Ultra version sacrifices some thermal conductivity for easier application. The only number I can find related to thermal conductance of this TIM is just a number: 82. I have no clue if this means 82 W/(m*K) or some other power/(linear measurement * temperature scale measurement). I COULD see this being 82 W/(m*K) as it is a liquid metal material based on Gallium. That being said, it is good stuff.This is a liquid metal TIM and, for a first time user, can be a pain to work with. However, after applying this a few more times, you will see that it is quite easy to work with. The best method is to go buy some TAMIYA small triangular craft cotton swabs at a hobby store. These will not leave behind cotton fibers like regular cotton swabs will and they will make the application of this liquid metal TIM very simple and easy.Now that I have the good news out of the way...the bad news, in terms of reapplying or removing this TIM: this TIM will be a major pain to clean off of nickel plated surfaces and a moderate pain to clean off of copper surfaces. I mean pain as in the kind where you might be forced to abrade away the TIM via 1200 grit aluminum oxide sandpaper (and re-polish the heatsink with jeweler's grade aluminum oxide sandpaper from 2000 to 8000 grit). Also, if you are using a heatsink that has nickel plating over copper, it will stain the nickel plating after just a few weeks. I have noticed that a high-quality nickel plating process will minimize the staining (some manufacturers of water cooling components use a cheaper process). Beware that electroless nickel plating will stain much easier with this TIM (do not know the reason why but I do know that electroless nickel plating is thinner than standard nickel plating on current manufacturing processes). IT IS PERFECTLY FINE ON THE SILICON (THE DIE), THOUGH, AS IT JUST WIPES AWAY EASILY AND CLEANLY, AND THAT IS A GOOD THING.Yes, it is based on Gallium and IT SHOULD NEVER BE USED WHERE THERE IS CONTACT WITH ALUMINUM! If you don't believe me, then do the research or put some of this on that ever-increasing pile of Intel heatsinks building up in your closet.This is the choice TIM to use for water cooling enthusiasts. This is used in all of my water cooling builds for clients (and for my personal computers and laptops).

Took me an hour to spread this over the entire CPU. I was very careful in only using a skim coat, using the needle to suck up all excess. Despite these efforts, somehow, some of it ran over the side of the cpu when attaching the cooler and no post. No bios, no power draw. Nothing. Took it apart, cleaned it all up, used regular paste and still nothing. Either this stuff destroyed my CPU or I bought a bad CPU. Idk yet but losing 500$ is a big deal. I actually DO NOT recommend using this because CPUs are vulnerable to shorting out as they have places around the heat spreader that can easily be touched by this conductive material.

Got this for my MacBook Air and have loved it so far. I have noticed MUCH better cpu temps and a slightly improved battery life. I can go on and on about how much more efficient the computer runs with this installed, but that doesn't give you the best perspective on how WELL this product works. So here are some findings I made with my computer both before and after installing the metal thermal "paste".Here is the code I used in terminal to max out my cpu:yes > /dev/null & yes > /dev/null & yes > /dev/null & yes > /dev/null &OLD PASTE (Arctic Silver)Fan on auto: 204 ºFFan at 100% speed: 180 ºFLIQUID METAL:Fan on auto: 196 ºFFan at 100% speed: 163 ºFAs you can see, the temps are a HUGE difference that you can really feel, quite literally. A definite buy for anyone with any computer!!!
