I loved bioshock infinite, are the first two as good?

If you loved Infinite you'll absolutely fall in love with the first Bioshock, if not prefer it. Definitely play it, it's on my top10 best games ever list and I've been playing games since the atari 2600.

Can these games be played in third person or are they all first person view?

Well you could play in third person with cheats but it just your hands floating, game not meant for third person

Never played Bioshock. is it a highly recommended game?

Absolutely! The first Bioshock is legendary, the 2nd is in my opinion one of the more underrated games of all time, and the last, Bioshock Infinite, is hands down my favorite game of all time. All three include great stories, and the incredibly fun action ramps up with every game. These are the only games I purchased on PS3 that I will purchase again and play on the PS4, it's that good.

Do you need to have the Internet to play the game, or just to initially download it? I'll be without internet for about 2 weeks.

No it doesn't require an internet connection, has two disc with bio 1&2 on one and infinate on the other
