Get it, must buy
Hey all. Here's a real review. Works exactly as advertised. First the bad, then the good. Some slight catches:there's a hole just above the fill line. It's there to keep the thing from being too full.Ask me how i found out about that. Water everywhere. It's very light. That can be good or bad. But it will fall over easily. There's nothing holding the cup in place, so if anything jostles it, the whole thing spills everywhere. That said, it works exactly as advertised. It works FAST. Like, from hitting the button, it's MAYBE two minutes tops, before you have your drink. That is just perfect. It's very quiet. It makes weird choking sorta noises, but they are quiet. If you want to use it at 3am, you can without waking anyone, even if they are in the same room. Very beneficial. Not complicated. There's a cord, a switch, and a cup.TLDR: for the.. 20-25$? i spent? probably the best purchase I've made this year. It's little, and its useful, it does what's on the tin. if you want a hot drink on demand, get it. i live in canada, we're just coming off winter, if I had bought it sooner, i'd be testing the warranty for 'overuse'

I've cleaned it 3 times with vinegar, rinse, and I always use spring water
I bought this coffeemaker several months ago with the hope that it would give me a quality caffeine experience. The coffeemaker piqued my interest because of its compact design and included travel mug. However, the taste of the coffee it produces doesn't rival that of a coffee maker with a paper filter. Coffee lovers should consider it with caution.Overall quality is acceptable. It's easy to use and its format is ideal for the garage. However, it fails to reproduce the rich, full-bodied taste of a conventional coffeemaker. Performance is decent for a single-serve coffeemaker, but don't expect miracles. The travel mug is dishwasher-safe. Easy to use for a quick cup of coffee. The taste of the coffee is not up to coffee lovers' expectations. Use high-quality coffee beans to improve taste. I've cleaned it 3 times with vinegar, rinse, and I always use spring water. If you're looking for a quick cup of coffee in the garage without too much hassle, this could be a good choice. However, if you're a true coffee connoisseur, it's best to look for an alternative that offers a more satisfying taste.- I'm a coffee lover and there's nothing more annoying than coffee that tastes bad.A paper filter is usually made of unbleached or chemically bleached paper. It retains the natural oils and fine particles of ground coffee during the brewing process. This leads to a clearer, cleaner coffee, as the oils and sediments that can give a heavier taste are filtered out. Coffee filtered with a paper filter tends to have a milder, more subtle taste, enhancing the aromatic and floral notes of the coffee.A microplastic filter is usually made of plastic or nylon. It allows oils and fine coffee particles to pass through the filter during infusion. As a result, the resulting coffee often tastes richer and more robust, as the oils and sediments contribute to a thicker texture and more intense flavor profile. Some people appreciate this richness and depth of flavor, while others (like me) prefer a cleaner, lighter coffee. In short, the paper filter tends to produce a clearer coffee, with a mild, subtle taste, while the microplastic filter allows a richer, fuller-bodied coffee by allowing oils and fine particles to pass through. The choice between the two depends on personal taste and texture preferences.- I hope I have enlightened you why your coffee never tastes the same?

Correct temp, ecofriendly, great price
Had this for 5 months now, still going strong. Makes a good mug of coffee, particularly if you only want one cup of coffee but want something of higher quality and ecofriendliness than pod machines.I measured the water temperature when I first got it because I hate coffee that has burned flavours in it; it dispenses at 195F which is the usual ideal. I bought it when we were moving, expecting to use it a month or so and then stuff it in a closet, but it's actually become my main way to make a cup. For the price, this was a great purchase.

Simply awesome in many ways!
Needed a coffee machine for the boat and this machine hits all the check boxes!Low price - disposable price class.Super hot - for me, else I drink too fast and too much,Low power- inverter driven on a small boat with one battery,Uses my coffee choice - only grings for waste.Easy clean up - rinse only and dump excess water completely before stowing under a seat. The supplied cup is good for carrying fresh coffee grinds and a measuring spoon; definitely does not hold the heat.My thermo cup in the picture fits with lid on very snuggly as does the water reservoir top on the machine - very little mess if tumbled during brewing on the go.3 scoops in the supplied basket - the first brew is bold, 2nd full brew is normal, 3rd 3/4 brew has flavour and more about hydrating. For me, the solar charge curve shows how little power is used and how the cumulative power drain is handled. I can drink coffee all day and still start the engine to get home to restock!Honestly, faster than boiling a kettle. Plus when it shuts off within seconds of finishing the brew - it's ready to drink. Too covenant.
