Yes, just not recommended for dishwasher.

It depends on where they source it from. Most of the time they are biproducts from the meat industry, so the animal would already be dead when the horns were cut. There are also ways to safely remove horns in a way that doesn’t harm the animal. Similar to how some rhinos and elephants are protected nowadays. People have gone and removed their horns/tusks to prevent poachers from hunting them for the ivory.
