Mr. Olympia Sample Box

I got ten samples, one mission clean snack bar (chocolate peanut butter), two fitjoy bars (French vanilla almond and chocolate brownie), one Vega protein/snack bar (chocolate caramel), a serving of sheer preworkout (cotton candy), a serving of C4 preworkout (fruit punch), a serving of muscle milk protein (chocolate), one packet but two servings of myoplex preworkout (Lemonberry) one Ready-to-Drink Lean Body protein shake (Salty Caramel) and a serving of eas whey isolate (Cinnamon Swirl). So you get a lot of variety of items and equal distribution of protein, preworkout and bars as well along with multiple flavors. There's a lot to taste here and with the $9.99 back in credit towards sports nutrition items, you don't lose much by buying, especially if you already buy supplements from Amazon. Great Deal

I love this pack. I haven't had a chance to try everything that came in it yet, but that's not the whole point. There are things that I am not crazy about the taste, but there are things that I do like. Most of the products are full size bars or packs, but there is one that's a half size bar. This sample pack is exactly that - a sample pack. You have to look at it that way. Example: I have been wanting to try the Vega bars for quite some time, but didn't want to order a whole box and take the chance that I might not like them. This pack came with a Vega bar. Will I be ordering more of them? Pretty sure I will. The best part? It essentially costs you NOTHING! Now that I have a product credit, I'll be ordering a box of bars pretty soon because I have a $9.99 credit coming. This is a no brainer folks. Just order it.

Good price for the samples. Was surprised on the size of them. Packaged well. Shipping is fast enough. Gives me alternate ideas for supplements for when I want to rotate them. Keep in mind it's hard to find samples from certain companies. An opportunity like this great for the nutritional enthusiasts. I love trying other products that offer great ingredients with great taste as well. It's very disappointing buying something from its promotion and being horrible or no results. This way you get to try it out and out maybe a couple dollars if you don't enjoy all of the products. I feel either way it's win.

This is a nice sample box but I wish it rotates the samples because everyone gets the same exact items. I will review each one below: FitJoy Protein Bars - I have had these before but the chocolate chip flavor which was very good. I do not have a problem at all with these protein bars. Their flavors are good and each has 20g of protein. They do average about 220 calories. MuscleTech Protein Bar - It tasted good. The bar is smaller than FitJoy's and there is only 10g of protein. Vega Protein Bar - My wife stole this one so I cannot comment on it. She said it tasted fine... whatever that means. I think it only has 11g of protein. Muscle Milk Protein Powder - OK, this is seriously the worst tasting chocolate protein powder I have ever tasted (and I have tasted many brands). Muscle Milk is really a crap brand. This is crap product. 25g of protein but the serving is 55g. That is about 45% of the powder is protein. Most people know that powder should be at least 80% for it to be quality. Basically 30g of what? 9g of fat and 15g of carbs. In addition, the ingredients tell you the type of quality. First ingredient is Calcium Sodium Caseinate (ok, its casein); second is Milk Protein Isolate and third is Non Dairy Creamer (Why does protein powder need this?? Never seen this in quality protein powders). There are other ingredients too (its a long list). The less ingredients a protein powder has, the better quality. I would never buy this product. Labrada Lean Body Protein Shake - Also does not taste good. I would not buy this product either. Myo Whey Isolate Protein Powder - This was not bad. Better than Muscle Milk and that Labrada shake. Cinnamon Swirl tasted good. Myo Pre-Workout - First time I used a pre-workout. I think it gave me energy. I used this when I went to the gym early morning (6am). I did experience the tingling sensation (which is normal) and minor itch. The only negative is that this one was 2 servings but in one packet. I had to estimate half so I can use one serving. They should have made this a one serving packet and not 2. C4 Pre-Workout - same as Myo. Because I do not use these, I am not sure how much energy I should have. Also there was not enough to take on a consistent basis to determine if it helps or not. Sheer Pre-Workout - I have not tried this yet. I will update my review once I do. It was good to try out the different products even though I did not like some of them. Overall, it is not bad especially since you get the $9.99 back as a credit so its basically free. I would not buy again unless they add new items.

Great value on a variety of products to sample. I was particularly fond of the Labrada Lean Body drink. Was smooth, not very chalky, had a good amount of sweetness. Muscletech was meh. The fitjoy bars tasted good, consistency was a tougher-chewiness. The aftertaste wasn't desired. The $9.99 discount came in handy for some bars I wanted. The Sheer and EAS pre-workout...I didn't feel any noticeable difference when training, anymore than when I drink a cup of coffee. Would need more usage to make a better assessment. The Vega bar was hearty and chocolate flavor was on point. I wasn't a fan of the protein powders (the EAS nor the Muscle Milk). Flavoring was strange (aftertaste was fake tasting), but they mixed well. On the following points, I gave a 4 star rating: - Processing/Shipping time, Shipping cost & packaging - The fact that this was a SAMPLER, so that I could evaluate some products without buying a large amount of the item (A suggestion would be to try different bars instead of the pre-workouts, especially the ones with creatine, as they could take time to build up and provide a good result to base a decision to purchase off of) - The price of $9.99 for all these items. When sold separately, some of the items included would increase the cost.

I'm a guy that buys supplements in bulk powders, so heavily marketed and flavored pre-workout mixes don't appeal to me. That being said, the box contained some pretty good products at a good price. The protein bars alone, which I received 4 of, would've probably costed $10 at a store. The Fitjoy bars were surprisingly delicious. The pre-workout mixes were surprisingly good in terms of ingredients. Caffeine, theanine, citrulline, beta-alanine, and a few others (basically what I use anyway). It's convenient to have it premixed and I'll keep these in my gym bag for times when I'm unable to mix my own or on the go.

This is a fabulous subscription box! I received nine products and three full size protein bars and a giant Lean Body Chocolate shake that sells alone for close to $4 at my local heath food store. I attached a picture of what I received and love the Mission Protein Bar the best so far and will be using my $9.99 credit towards a box of these delicious bars. This box had a great variety, I really enjoyed the Fitjoy bars, mission one bar, and the Vega bar. It was nice to be able to try things out without committing to an entire big box that you aren't sure you will like. I enjoyed the fitly bars so much that I turned around and used the credit this box gives to purchase a whole case of those. Honestly this just makes sense to buy if you want to sample protein and if you know you like one of the bars its worth the purchase to use the credit towards the bars and get all of these samples. Great purchase!
