Symphonic Metal Dark & Beautiful / Various

I was a little worried when I read the other review who said this was a collection of grunge. It is not! It's a good collection of symphonic metal. That reviewer also said he was old, I'm in my fifties and I love this stuff. My favorite band is Epica, but I like all these other bands too. While I have most of it on other CD's, I like the fact that I can lend this CD out to give others an idea of what symphonic metal sounds like. I highly recommend it.

I am new to this style of music. Most of the songs are good. Takes time to adjust to the sounds.

The title says it all. An interesting break from the norm. It will have your friends asking who this is and you'll just have to impress them with your know a various Symphonic Metal bands using this disc to enlighten them!

I was trying to purchase a symphony cover type of rock music. This was not covers. It is genuine hard rock or maybe even grunge rock. Out of fairness to the artist, if you're into grunge rock then this maybe a great album. For me it was way to heavey, but then I'm old.

Genau diese Art von Musik höre ich im Herbst besonders gern! Geil hierbei ist vor allem, dass neben den bekannten großen Bands auch wieder viele Gruppen drauf sind, die ich niemals vorher auf dem Schirm hatte! Das macht den Kauf dieser CD-Reihe für mich absolut unausweichlich!

Un double cd idéal pour découvre ce courant musical, des groupes variés, un choix des titres assez cohérent, je commanderai les autres sans hésiter.
