I'm not sure, but my daughter-in-law uses here iphone to connect to it wireless and plays nursery rhymes from it for our grandchild to sing along with...a lot of fun!

I have not found were I can turn it off from the unit. You would have to turn off bluetooth off on the device it is picking up.
