My pole is stuck it wont come down, what way am I supposed to twist the height adjustment to come down? I have tried both ways

Hello. Try to unscrew the 3 screws on the cover tube, then turn the A tube counterclockwise to lower the overall height of the tube. If the height adjuster can't be turned down, it's probably rusted inside. You can try dripping peanut oil or lubricating oil into the 3 screw holes, wait for 1 night, and try again.
