Great sound
I bought these for the first time, great vintage sound for a reasonable price. Excellent choice for my 60โs Strat build.

Worth the money for sure.
I'm pleased as punch to report that these pickups are sweet! Even though they weren't a direct drop in to my Squier Stratocaster. The pickups I took out of the Squier were absolutely terrible cheap. These sound like a blazing fire compared to those pickups. I didn't go measuring resistance or what have you on the pickups, just soldered them, set them and turned the amp up. Buying these TOTALLY beats the $300 pre wired pickup guards. I have a $99 Squier now that sounds like $1,000.

Vintage Tone for a great price!
Perfect upgrade on my parts-caster. Has the Strat โquackโ sound which is exactly what I was looking for.

Hot sound
Upgraded a 1995 American Standard from factory standard to these. Definitely get a bit more punch and sustain. I especially like the way they seem to help sustain on harmonics at *each* pickup. I used to get a muddy response at the middle pickup settings. Now its nice and chimy. Not the best pickups you can buy but a definite upgrade from factory if you want a bit more heat.

No issues. Sound good.
I have a 50 year old Japanese strat knockoff that I adore, but the electronics were aging and the original pickups were falling apart. I replaced the pots and wires, 3-way switch, and got these lovely Vintera pickups. They sound good and I am satisfied. I would suggest that if you go to the trouble of replace the pups also replace all of the pots while you're at it. The pickups won't sound as good if you have noisy volume and tone pots. It took about 45 minutes to install with my non-steller soldering skills. I got these fender pups because they were on sale. These are good pups, but are not a great value for money. There are options that are half the price and very satisfactory.

Disappointing
I have watched several demos and the Vintera 60โs vintage pickups appear to be what I am looking for, so I was excited at first to get them, but I have had to return them three times so far. For starters, the output rating is all over the board. Two sets had neck pickups rated at 5.6K, another had the neck rated at 5.9K, higher than the middle. It is supposed to be 5.7k (heck, I would have even accepted 5.8). Second, as others have mentioned, the soldering is absolutely awful. The bobbins are burnt, and it appears they used an angle grinder or Dremel or something to grind down the gobs of excess solder. Lastly, each one comes in packaging that looks like it is actually from the 1960s. I donโt think this is intentional on fenderโs part. To me, it looks like these have been returned by several other customers. Iโm currently waiting on set four. If itโs anything like the others, Iโll likely be returning and looking to another manufacturer. There are plenty of guys in the US hand-winding pickups these days for a comparable price. Iโm honestly starting to think you might just be paying for the fender logo without the quality at this point.

I have then installed for some time now. They are really smoth and defined. It was what I was looking for

The Vinteta range of pickups are getting harder to find and with good reason, they rival the US made Fender offerings. Built with proper grey fibreboard, enamel coated wire and an output wind very close to mid to late 60's specs. The tone is very vintage, piano like highs and mids with restrained lows. Grab them while you can as they are the equal of many high end, boutique style brands but at a much more reasonable price point. Highly recommended.

Perfect in every way.

Suono classico 60,molto tagliente al manico e molto sottile/incisivo al ponte. Indicata per il blues o per i suoni Hendrixiani. Un po deluso dalla confezione, arrivata un po sbucciata senza una pellicola/cellophane protettiva. Ottimi pickup.
