Without so much as a warning, humanity in its entirety was suddenly moved to another dimension. Every person without exception. But this new world with all its opportunities and gifts of wondrous abilities, was a stadium. A deadly arena of an unimaginable scale. And Humanity were to be its latest gladiators. Every man, woman and child was given a weapon and ordered to fight. Stuck in this dimension without a way out, only two options existed for the would be hunters: Fight with monsters to complete the many trials ahead, or perish. Faced with hordes of powerful monsters, thrown into battle with complete strangers at random, the unfair game of survival began. And from the very beginning, billions of lives were extinguished in mere moments. But even within this abyss of despair was a small ray of hope: If even one person were to complete every raid, then humanity would be redeemed and restored back to its former glory. No save points, no revives, no retries. Everyone had just one life to make their way through the gauntlet of raids prepared to test their mettle. Within this marathon of death, one man becomes aware of an exception to the rules of the game. Review: Great start to a series. - I'm quite sure that the translation was very difficult. I'm also sure that in future novels it will get better. Thoroughly enjoyed the storyline. One of the best things about this book for me was it was a good mix between action, character building and internal feelings. A lot of the litRPG has got way too much character angst and then a ton of action and a little bit of character building, quite frankly I don't need to know everything every character is thinking or their background or how everything happened and why oh why oh why. A good storyline that keeps you interested is what matters to me. I'm looking forward to the next one. Review: Interesting - This was a good book. Was the writing a little flat from translation, a tad. But the idea itself the story was based off was fun and interesting. I'd read the next one.

Terse writing, but a fun story
The writing style of this book would generously be called straightforward. That said, it was kind of nice and refreshing to read something so simple yet driven. Main character seems blunt and almost uncaring in places, but that's part of his character and fits within his arc. I enjoyed the book and am looking forward to the next.

Great book.
Here is what I would normally call the "cons." No humor, OP main, formal prose, weak secondary character development, little world building. However, this book had me mesmerized. I devoured it. It all worked well together. Super eager for the next in the series. If you're on KU, download and read now.

Excellent!
Once you understand the background of the Main Character / Hero, his lack of emotion and focus makes sense. He is on a mission to save humanity! He grew up as an orphan, so he is emotionally stunted. He did not grow up in a loving caring environment. And he has gone though a process he saw all of humanity killed, where only a handful remain. Good read with lots of action,

Good book
I am not going to summarize the book and this is my copy pasted endorsement. I will tell you I liked it and that it has good pacing, plot and characters. Read it and find out for yourselfโฆthatโs the magic of books-the journey into unknown realities orโฆun-realities.

Great book
Not the first time I read a story about a hero who got to restart his life over again , while keeping his memories from his future self. But the story is well written. Character development is well thought out. The main protagonist is a bit OP, but that actually makes sense because he can avoid the mistakes he made the first time. I enjoyed this story greatly. Can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Flawed but interesting
First off, the giant elephant in the room: this is a translated work. It is neither translated nor formatted nor edited in any professional way. This fact makes reading the story quite painful at times. There is constant repetition of words and just a lot of sentences that are weird or make no sense. However, if you can get past that, then you get a story that is interesting... ...Once you're more than halfway in. The last 40% of the book is great, but the other 60% is repetitive fighting with very little downtime between. I have no idea how the original was written, but I'm guessing the translation is nothing if not faithful, though that's also why it's not very good. However, the writing lacks descriptions and finesse, basically making all the fights really uninteresting, and what ends up stealing the show is the drama, the planning ahead, and the urge to see what comes next. Along with the progression and loot drops I suppose. The story does have interesting ideas, but many are not executed well. Still, I read through it quite fast and after the ending, I'm interested to see where it goes.

repetitive storie
The chapters in this book are repetitive with the MC growing more and more OP and gaining more OP loot. The story is shallow, only focusses on the storyline of the MC and nothing else.

Great read
This was good and easy to Read, the only thing Missing is the real life comparability because he came from the Raids to the Raids so there is really no background on the MC

Great Litrpg quick read
This book was a really fun read, although the 2nd chance the MC got is used quite often in fantasy books. The book still remained interesting. There is a lot of deviation from his past and present experiences and new surprises to even keep the MC on his toes. However like Korean video games MC gets pretty OP very fast. I would recommend reading this if you like quick paced action novels, litrpg and OP main characters.

Entertaining
It's a fun book. I think most will have a good time reading it. Thats mostly what I look for in litrpgs.

Competent story, excellent translation
I've come across many translated novels in this genre. Many of them highlight how poor automatic translation programmes still are. This is much better than that. The story offers little that is new but what it does deliver is well done and engaging. I will read the next one should it be of a similar standard.
