Tufton Portable Bluetooth Speaker, Black & Brass

I've used this for a little over six months now and have thoughts about this speaker. Short story- This is an amazing speaker that sounds fantastic.Longer story- This speaker is almost 11 pounds in weight and built like a tank. It's pretty tough. You can feel the build quality when taking it out of the box. No plastic feeling party box with this one. This looks like a Marshall amp, and it's built like one. Water resistant for light rain if you have to take it outside too.It's an older model, so you get Bluetooth 5.0 instead of newer versions which for most people will mean almost nothing. It connects fast enough and quite easily. You don't get high res codecs, but there's a aux line input if you want to really make this sing with lossless or CD audio etc. It can get pretty loud, and the battery lasts a long time.One thing about most Marshall portable speakers is that you don't need to be facing them to hear audio clearly, it supports a virtually 360 degree listening area which is very impressive. Makes it very versatile at large gatherings. This speaker isn't compatible with the Marshall App, so no EQ adjust, except for bass and treble knobs on the top. And it's great. Power is on the volume knob and can simply be rotated on or off. Simple and easy. No track or music controls though.Power is via battery which charges fairly quickly, or it can be plugged in. The handle makes carrying a breeze. It's become my favorite larger portable speaker. I really hope there's a Tufton 2 later, that adds app support, more codecs, maybe player controls etc.

Great sound for the size and I got this on a deal (287$) and its right on the money. Its convenient, sounds great, easy to use, lag free connectivity and the batter lasts really long and charges pretty quickly. Although heavy, it is worth it!

Great, clear, crisp sound. Set treble at 6, higher than bass, volume half way through and place the speaker 6-10 inches away from a wall. Then hear the magic happen. Lasts for days without the need to recharge. Perfect sound for outdoors as well.

Excellent speaker , for small venues or rooms. This baby is heavy duty, and premium features and touch, shows it is TOUGH, like in the name! Sound is very good, and worth the money. Has nice handle, and knobs feel road worthy, feels better than flat buttons, or glass. Not super loud, but loud enough for most people .no other fancy things like lights, it does exactly what it is made for.

I really like this speaker. It sounds great and has good bass. The battery lasts a pretty long time. The only reason i didnt give it 5 stars is because its annoying how many sounds it makes. When you turn it on it makes a sound, when a phone connects it makes a sound, when a phone disconnects it makes a sound, when the battery is low it makes sounds. If your at a parts with multiple phones connected and one person walks out of range and back, every time it makes sounds. Very annoying. but besides that great speaker.

Love it!!! The sound is so clear! The volume is amazing! Not too smal and not yo bug. We can take it to the park or use it in the house! his is our second one! The first still is amazing we just needed an upgrade!! Highly recommended!

The speaker arrived perfectly packaged in a sealed, pristine box. After opening and testing it, I was blown away by the sound quality. I actually own the entire Marshall portable lineup, from the smallest Willen all the way up to the Tufton, and this brand continues to dominate. This is by far one of the best audio purchases I’ve ever made, completely outperforming my other stereo systems. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a massive, room-filling bass system, whether for indoor listening or backyard barbecues. It easily gets a 10 out of 10 from me! An outstanding product—I’m already saving up to add the Marshall Bromley 750 to my collection next!

I’ve had 2 other marshals, phi’s I was a drummer with marshals on both sides. This speaker is by far worth every penny. I tge sound is perfect . The volume could be better, the sound is great

Some 3rd party reviews rated the Tufton lacks mid-range. I have the Stockwell II & Kilburn II and decided on the Tufton which has marvelloue bass. The break-in was about 24 hours. My music source from Tidal and mid is okay for me.So much so, I ordered another 2 Tufton for my friends. One them kept the Kilburn II for home use & Tufton both outdoor & home.

Excelente bocina, su calidad de sonido esta muy por encima de muchas otras bocinas. 100% recomendada, su pila se recarga en aprox 1 hora, y su tamaño y peso realmente la hacen portatil.

sounds perfect when volume is high, a bit boomy on low volume, nice design, long battery life
