Magic Potion
I started CGM just two months back after I bid adieu to my chemically straightened hair. I was overwhelmed initially watching all the CG tutorials on YouTube, so I reached out to a few local curly bloggers on Instagram who helped me a lot. Almost all of them recommended me this product. Since it was highly recommended I had to get my hands on it. And Oh Boy! I love it. It’s a One & Done product for me (I think I have 2c-3a curls). I applied a generous amount to my hair using the raking method and then SOTC after fully air drying my hair. This magic potion made my unruly hair so soft, bouncy and shiny, and no frizz. I didn’t even need a gel after applying this. It gives my curls great definition too. On day 2, 3 and 4, I just refreshed my hair with plain water and detangled. By day 4, my scalp felt a lil greasy and on day 5 I decided to take a hair wash. A gap of 5 days in between washes (with refreshes using only water) is totally amazeballs. And it’s pretty affordable as compared to other similar products out there in the market. The scent is okay, it doesn’t linger for long.

Superb product - 3b to 3c curls - medium length heavy hair with frizz
Very thick, cream like texture. Little amount of product is enough.This is an awsome product. Honestly....After getting rid of the chemically treated hair for over 10 years, I decided to get back my natural hair.This help control frizz to some extent. The directions of use of this product didn't work very well for me and it took me 2-3 trails for getting the desired results using this cream.I have frizz issue so my way of using it was....Step 1 - wash scalp and hair with shampoo ( I haven't tried the curl up shampo yet)Step 2 - condition the hairStep 3 - partially towel dry the hair so no water drips.Step 4 - use hair serum (not the curl up serum; not sure of they have one)Step 5 - untangle hair with broad tooth combStep 6 - use very less amount of this product and use my fingers like a comb to apply it evenly. Then crunch ur hair. Don't forget the top hair near scalp.Ps - they recommend to use it in very wet hair but it didn't work for me very well.Step 7 - let the hair air dry.DO NOT TOUCH THE HAIR OR OPEN UP CURLS WHILE DRYING - EVEN IF U R TEMPTED TO DO SO.The results are amazing. Serum controls the frizz and the product hold the curls very well.

It has less moisturizing effect apart from that it's a good curl up cream , it doesn't damage the hair.
