Hi - is this part # 7802B.12? Thanks.

yes. mine was 25 - 90 pound load, height of 12 foot

Does anyone know where I can find a copy of the manual? I lost mine

No way to contact this company for information, warranty etc. Manual says contact dealer for questions, I'm not thinking Amazon is going to be much help. I ordered one for a cargo box but the the box says watercraft? And BTW why isn't the manual for each model on the Harken site. Bad service for the price

how does it works with jeep tops?

The hoist works great with the Jeep. I have a 2012 2-door, and it only takes about 10- to 15-lbs. of force to lift the top off. My 8-year old son is able to lift the top.

Any evidence of creep failure or stretching in the rope or straps? Rope material? "Double braided rope" is vague.

No creep or stretch. Seems very solid polyester or nylon rope. All parts should hold up well even if you exceed the load limit by a significant margin. And then I’d expect the mechanical parts to fail before the ropes / straps. It’s super easy to hoist a kayak, cargobox or other item and I’ve not seen any creep with our kayaks hanging from the garage roof - even after months they’re still at the upper hoist limit.
