Do you find that when you purchase these online that the chunks are crushed/crumbled in the shipping process?

Mine don't come in a box. They're in a padded envelope that doesn't provide any protection against crushing. I've ordered them a couple times. When I go to the store to buy them, the chunks are whole pieces.

Can you explain why a 1.09 oz bag costs $4.37 and a 2 pack of 1.09 oz bags costs $15? I'm not getting the math
