Excellent product- still holding up after 3 years
As I walked into my house today, I was so grateful for this cover. I have no awning over my front door in this product has held up in the Florida heat and weather. It does show somewhere but it’s been nearly 3 years and heavy wind. I lowered it, but left it outside. Maybe twice it actually blew down but was easy to put back up and has held up incredibly well. It gives a cover for packages and shades my front door as well. I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for this product so that others will know how good it really is. It’s not super high-quality, but it is very durable and does a good basic job of providing coverage and shade.

Just what I needed!
I was looking for sun and rain cover for a portion of our back deck, not the entire deck. This awning fit our need perfectly. We have an overhang section on the second floor of our house, so the idea of setting up a free standing awning that we could secure from the overhang to the deck floor just made great sense. We went with the 13’ awning so that we could cover the back door and some cooking items (grill, griddle and pizza oven) and have protection from walking from the inside of our house to the deck. Box arrived from Amazon with the contents well packaged. Opening the box, I accounted for all the parts and laid them out on the deck to start assembling. With my wife’s help, the entire awning was assembled in 1.5 hours. We were in no rush and took our time to follow the directions in the booklet. Very easy to assemble with few tools needed. We did need two small ladders to stand on so that we could attach the awning to the support poles. Opening and closing the awning is simple and easy. You can also adjust the height of the side support arms. We really like this awning and again we’re happy to find this for what we were looking to add to our deck. Also, the price of this awning is a real steal!

Pleasantly surprised! Easy to assemble, good quality parts (for the price). Very happy.
We've been living in an apartment with a patio that gets a lot of sunlight. Usually, that's a good thing, but we were getting tired of being baked (or rained on) when we sat outside. This unit provided a solution - an actual wind-up awning that isn't screwed into the building's structure, therefore allowing us to set it up and, when the time comes, take it down without leaving holes (and impacting our security deposit). We bought the 118" wide unit since it most closely matched our 129" wide opening. The assembly was very straightforward; all of the pieces were bagged and labeled, and the instructions were clear. Everything snicked together nicely, and the occasional bit of screwing-together was no problem at all. All of the holes lined up, and it was a very quick affair, thanks to the instruction booklet. Tools needed were a philips-head screwdriver, a pliers, an adjustable wrench, and a level. Note: the step where the awning is slid into the groove on the assembled top bar is a lot easier if the end cap on the bar is removed prior to trying. It's only two screws - easy stuff. You might also want to detach the winding wand from the crank assembly while you're at it. That'll keep it from clanking around while you maneuver the awning into place. Taping the stabilizer rods to the main uprights once they're in place is another good idea; leaving them loose and swinging around during assembly can invite breakage of the plastic clamps. Once the uprights are set up, undo the tape and fasten them as per the instructions. Overall - super pleased with the result. Our patio is now a more usable, more comfortable space - and we won't be surprised if we see a lot of these on other tenants' decks in the coming weeks!

Be aware of what you’re getting
Be aware of what you’re getting This awning is . . . Ok, when it’s not broken. It provides shade on part of my patio and is functional in good weather (i.e., not raining). I sadly bought at the highest price time ($160) and didn’t insist on having seller replace the item when I got the wrong [ugly] color. Seller didn’t reply to my message so I dropped it. Dumb. I really should have gotten a refund and returned this. Here’s what I wish I knew before we installed it: 1. if the awning catches rain because you forgot to roll it up, it will come apart on one side when you try to remove the rain—no matter how careful you are. I dislike going to the patio after a surprise (or not surprise) rain and find it sagging in the middle. We still haven’t figured out a good way to remove the rain without having the awning fall apart on one side 2. putting it back together is a pain because of cheap plastic parts. I can’t wait till they break, and they will break since we have to fix it every other week or so. And cheap hard plastic doesn’t last. 3. It’s not as deep as you think, or hope. Measure carefully. It’s shallow. 4. The price fluctuates wildly. We got ours for 159.99. Now it’s 79.99. Just wait, if you want it. 5. We got the wrong color. We ordered cream. We got beige, with NO explanation. I should have returned it, but it’s a total pain to do that. 6. WOULD I GET THIS AGAIN? NOPE. NO, I WOULD NOT. With all the issues—poor plastic components, falling off one side if it happens to rain, shallow depth (my fault—i should have measured better), getting the wrong color (beige, ugh!!) without notice, and paying way too much at the time—159.99—pay a little extra or use those sheer triangular awnings from Lowe’s. They work a LOT better. And after you pay, the issue will be whether it’s a good product. No. No, it’s not. Buyer beware.

Economical and effective
I ordered a second one of these after installing the first one for use on a patio door with a balcony. I did attach the uprights to the door trim on the building with U-clamps for added stability. They are well made and installation was no problem by myself, all pieces and parts present. While it is true, as I read in reviews and experienced, that water accumulates on the awning, it is easily corrected by lowering one side a couple of inches and water drains off well. I'm very happy with them.

Easy for an old lady to assemble and install.
I just finally got to putting this thing up and I cannot say enough good things about it so far. It was incredibly easy to assemble, solo for a 50 year old woman. I even was able to install it myself easily. So far it seems prettt sturdy, but not for like a hurricane or big storm. We shall see. It’s really attractive too.

Quality awning for the price and intent.
A quality product at a good price, and it does the job it was intended to do. Definitely a two person install. I bought a smaller one to cover a kitchen window and I was so impressed with it, I bought a larger one for a four window span over the living room. Again, definitely a two person job, but worth the price.

Well built and easy install
Edit: I tried ordering a second one but they send me the wrong size. Amazon sent me a replacement and again it was the wrong size. The labeling on their boxes are incorrect. So amazon keeps shipping a box that says it's the right size but when I open it, the item doesn't match the box labeling. Contacting the seller seems to be impossible. Emails, thru amazon, via their website "contact us" form. I'm just gonna get a refund and find a different seller. Original post: I’m actually quite impressed by the quality of the product. I was expecting it to feel flimsy and blow over on a windy day but it’s actually built well. It’s the exact right length for my patio which is quite a miracle. Like, exactly the length, to the inch. The adjustable tension twists made it easy to install. I bought it mostly to keep debris off my patio furniture, not really for shade. I do have two issues though. 1) I wish the manufacturer had optional canopy replacements in different colors or at least a canopy that was opaque. I only wanted the canopy to keep debris and rain off my patio furniture. Not for the shade. Actually, I rather have more sunlight than less. An opaque canopy would be perfect. 2) I wish the arms were an inch or two longer. Had they been just a bit longer the canopy would fully cover my patio and furniture perfectly. Right now if it rains I’ll have to pull in my patio furniture a few inches to keep them out of the rain.

No recomendable
El producto no es de la medida que se publica, es más chico y ni del color que se describe. Instructivo mediocre y calidad dudosa. Cero recomendable. No entiendo como pueden vender un producto que se describe de una forma y resulta una cosa muy diferente.
