Accurate & Easier to Read w/Larger Face Dial
This was listed as a top contender for the money on a consumer review site & am happy with it so far. The face is much bigger than the cheaper ones and it shows how off oven is which has had the same pattern for years. When baking breads, cakes, cookies…it’s important to at least be near the required temp. I’m seeing an improvement on the quality of my bakes now that I have a more reliable temp gauge. Try to refrain from the cheaper ones if you do a lot of baking especially high temp. bakes. They’ll oxidize & burn out on you & loose accuracy very fast. We’ve bought few over the last 5 years.

Found out that my oven temperature is out, I've always suspected it was. Always liked the quality of the OXO stuff. Thought briefly of looking for an over thermometer of this type at the dollar store but thought better of it as I wouldn't have known if the temperature it was reporting was accurate.Would definitely buy it again.
