Yes it does. If you hit a bump and it feels like the wheel is going to fall off. Then yes. It's not so easy to get to but that was are problem and it feels like a new car. Hope this helps ya!

If you're looking to doing the repair yourself, I recommend watching the YouTube video for this repair. I gets a little intensive, but the part should work being they all have the same power steering assist. If you're not into tearing down your driver side dash, get someone who can.

No more crunchy crunch steering sounds!

This is a nice little replacement for the faulty Kia factory unit. Got rid of that crunchy steering sound and the loose feeling while traveling down the road. Little bit of a chore to get it installed but well worth it. There's plenty of good videos on YouTube that show how to install it.

Item fixed our clicking of original part in 2013 Hyundai Sonata, original part was rubbery, this one was hard plastic, fit was perfect, not sure on longevity as it was installed last weekend, so far so good, will update if it does not last!
