Great look authentic look. Also pretty practical to wear comfortable.

It arrived today and it fits my 11 yo daughter's head just fine. So I imagine it would work for a 10-12 yo kid. It is not adjustable, so you take your chances on whether it is a little loose or tight. But it works for my daughter's Civil War school module (where the kids actually need to conduct infantry battle drills/formations as part of a large ongoing assignment where the kids are divided into teams of North and South {she drew the South straw}). It is relatively inexpensive which fits the temporary nature of this 1.5 month school assignment. It is NOT really quality enough for an adult participant in Civil War reenactment events (if that is your hobby, you need to get a $50 plus kind of hat). The reason I drop the rating a star is because the cheap shiny plastic crossed rifles emblem that is sewed into the front of the hat (and thus non adjustable/detachable/rearrangeable) on the hat I received is installed UPSIDE DOWN. The rifles in the crossed rifle emblem are actually upside down. But it looks just fine from a distance. You have to get up close to the hat to see the rifles are upside down. I told my daughter that she can just pretend to be the anarchist/punk rock version of a Civil War soldier who wears their insignia upside down to protest authority (Down with the Man! ... :P )

My daughter needed a Civil War era hat and this did the trick. It is great quality and fit her well. I recommend this product!

One size doesn’t fit all

This was purchased as a gift for my nephew . and the intelligence we recieved from the front line states.. He loves it ! It came on time and is a great value its a quality cap and is just like the seller says ! SIR! I RECOMEND THIS ITEM.. update 12 /2021 just bought a second cap for myself and can tell you for the price it's an excellent cap and deal! As far as size goes.i wear A European hat size 59 .and US size 7 3/8 and it fits me perfect
