101 Blues Riffs & Solos in Open D Guitar Tuning: Essential Lessons for Open D (DADF#AD) Guitar Tuning Paperback – January 8, 2021

The book maps out pentatonic and blues scales in open D tuning, and includes many riffs and solo phrases in different keys - I've just started to work with the scales in the key of D, but the rest of the material looks very good. I'm a newbie to Open D, and this book provides a nice roadmap to finding things. It also has a good section on getting started playing slide, which is why I'm trying to learn Open D.

Nothing in this that isn't on the 'net in 1000 places, and 80 pages of it is charts that most people will never use. And why don't people who publish music books use spiral binding that will stay open?

I returned because only written for guitar. I play lap steel.
