It’s so hard to find an enzyme exfoliant that doesn’t burn or irritate the skin. I love mixing a little of this into a treatment mask and wearing as a mask for 10-15 minutes. Skin is exfoliated, soft and clean! This esti approves!

I love that this facial wash is single wrapped packets, it makes it very convenient for travel. They open easily by tearing off the top. You can either add water and lather up, or use it as a mask and leave it on for several minutes. I only use it as a cleanser, not mask. It is kind of gritty, so it scrubs nicely. the scent is faint, not unpleasant. It seems gentle and did not cause any breakouts on my skin. My skin feels clean after using, and there is no residue.

Recently, my friends have been getting into a "Korean skin care" routine (mostly because our wives bought excess products and there was an expiration date on the products), so I decided to give this a try. It does help keep my face from getting excessively oily, which does prevent pimples from showing up here and there. It's pretty simple to use, pour out the powder and add water, then use something to whisk/whip it until it foams up; I simply added them to my shaving mug, added some water, and used my badger hair shaving brush to whip it into a lather (just like I would for shaving cream). I would then use this foam to wash my face, I found that adding this step into the end of my shaving routine was a great self pampering indulgence and allowed my skin to be in better condition than it has ever been.

I recently started getting into powdered washes and at first it was a little odd to me but now I am actually quite fond of them and they certainly have a place in your skin regimen. For one, they are very travel friendly and secondly you can control the texture of the wash by how much water you add. They are usually less likely to be fragranced-or at least the ones I have seen and tried have not had strong added perfume and only scented from the ingredients in them. This powder wash has a very light scent that I cannot identify. It is personally not a nice scent but it is very faint that it won't bother you much unless you are hyper sensitive to smells. The powder wash is nice in that you have a pre-measured amount ready to use. You can use less water and make it more akin to a thick face mask (or just use 2 packs to really make a thicker mask). I started with about 1/2 tsp of water and got it frothing in my hand first. I could still feel some grit so I added about 1/4 tsp more water and the grit was gone and it was still decently thick for my face compared to liquid face wash. I could probably have used less than the package and still got a good cleaning and froth going. It is very gentle and I was able to open my eyes and massage the soap on my eyelids without getting irritated or red eyes from the soap. There is no strong stinging or any irritating feeling during or after using this powder wash. The froth and wash are very soothing and while my texture was a little on the thicker side, it was very soothing. My skin felt clean and moisturized vs. stripped after washing the powder wash off. There is no scent that is detectable. I have dry and sensitive skin and I had no problems using this. Since this can also be used as a face mask-I will probably try that by adding less water and leaving it on for longer. I like how there is a non-travel sized version of this that is just $3 more (at time of review) for a bottle of 80g (vs this travel size which is 1g each of 20 for $15).
