I teach yoga classes and choose to play this CD during my classes so often that I have just about worn out it out! The pace is perfect for an hour or 1 hour and 15 min. class in that the first couple of tracks start out slow, then the pace picks up, and finally the last few tracks slow down just in time for Savasana. It makes for the perfect background music. My students enjoy it so much that many have bought the album for their own use. I highly recommend this CD!

I just purchased this CD because the music sounded good. Not because I'm a person wanting music for yoga practice; not because I want eastern music... just because it sounded good. And when I played it I fell madly in love with it! More! More! More!I'm quite sure that this would be great for yoga, spacing out, doing housework.... or more interesting things (even better for those, i'm thinking...)... seriously.For this kind of music, I'd easily pay double. This is an incredible compilation and I highly recommend it.

Bought this because I have Shiva's trans dance yoga dvd. I like the upbeat rythyms. It is the modern and cultural sound that I enjoy.

I will only be using the first and last songs from this CD in my yoga class. The rest of the songs are not appropriate for the kind of mood I like to create. A couple of the songs are jazz/blues, another one is really boring and repetitive, and the rest are just not interesting. If this CD lacked the first and last songs I would be completely disappointed and rate it one star.

Not what I expected. Beware, when I chose a piece of music on cd, AQmazon brings up : here's what others have purchased along with your selection. Well, they displayed this and another cd by the same artist. Both of these were disappointing and I tossed them out. Waste of my money and there wasn't any preview available to hear selected tracks in advance,.....garbage.

This is a great cd for a vinyasa class. The way it starts out is slower, then build up, and slows down again, just like a class. I use it all the time when I teach!

Beautiful album. I'm a yoga teacher and use it often in my classes.

I would still recommend this cd but it is not as good as some of her others. At times it can be a bit too full on..bit too trance. Would only be good for flow and there is not softer sounding tunes towards the end which if your using for a class is generally nice to have when things are winding down towards shavasana

ideal for practice

I bought this CD a few months ago as it was recommended to me by a yoga teacher. I really like it and find it very useful for meditation or just background music.

As a yoga instructor I always seek nice music for my classes and this CD is the best I have heard so far. Excellent for flow classes.

Ich habe mir diese CD gekauft, um auch ohne DVD allein üben zu können, und eine musikalische Untermalung zu haben.Leider gefallen mir nicht alle Titel auf dieser CD, bei manchen nervt mich das monotone Gejaule einfach mit der Zeit.Zum Üben suche ich mir eben nur die raus, die mir gefallen.
