I picked up this Tactical Molle Water Bottle Pouch mainly to use on my metal detecting finds belt, and it’s been a great addition to my setup. The MOLLE attachment is solid and keeps it securely in place while I’m walking and digging, and the carabiner is a nice bonus for quick clip-on use when needed. What I really like is the foldable mesh design—it opens up to hold a water bottle or small items easily, but when I’m not using it, it folds up neatly and stays out of the way. That’s a big plus when you’re trying to keep your gear lightweight and uncluttered. The mesh is durable enough for outdoor use, and it drains well if it gets wet, which is perfect for hiking, fishing, or detecting in different conditions. It’s simple, functional, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do without any hassle. Overall, a very handy and versatile pouch. Excellent! Held my water bottle very well, which made it so much easier for me to drink while hiking. It attached to my Osprey Stratos backpack very easily, although it did slip down with a water bottle in it, so I needed to attach it with a spare shoelace.

Fits nicely on my backpack. I’m just confused about the Velcro. I am using these straps to attach it so then the Velcro is kind of just fluttering around and gets in the way and stuck on things. I wish it could be removed, may cut it off. But it is a minor inconvenience and fits my 24 ounce Owala nicely.

This water bottle pouch has several ways to attach it to different packs, bags, purses. It holds the water bottle well that makes it easy to carry water with you wherever you go. It's very convenient. You don't have to carry the bottle in your hand or dig through your bag for it.

I was looking for a water bottle holder that would hold a Smart Water bottle on the shoulder strap of my backpack. While most of the reviews were unclear of this, I thought I would include a couple of photographs that would show how they fit both the 1 L, and the 700 mL bottles. While the1 L bottle does stick out of the top, the cinch does hold it in place and I don’t think there will be any issues of it falling out. The quality of the product is good, and it comes with a very nice lightweight locking carabiner. Packs down to a small size that does not take up a lot of room in your pack before you need it.

Functions well but when unfolded the Velcro is exposed and catches on clothing etc. otherwise good design and holds a full size water bottle.

Picked this up a little while back (for $8) without a clear idea of what or how I was going to use this just because it looked cool and useful to have. I believe I have now found it's perfect use; attached to my backpack shoulder strap. I carry 32oz widemouth Nalgene bottles and recently switched to a different day pack that had 2 bottle pockets, but I couldn't reach them without stopping and taking my pack off. This is not ideal for proper hydration. My solution was to attach one of these to my pack's shoulder strap. I just used a couple plastic zip ties to connect it to the daisy chain loops. It works very well. I tried it out yesterday for the first time and the only issue I had was putting the bottle back in; the opening is a little snug on the widemouth bottle. I fixed that by stretching it a little bit. I have both a camo and a black one, the camo one was snug and the black one is perfect, allowing the bottle to slide in easily. One of the useful features is that when you don't need it you can fold it up and close it to take up very little space. It's also very lightweight. The only cons is that there were some threads sticking out and the carabineer is so cheap that it's practically useless. There are several options on the market for shoulder strap bottle pouches from several different manufacturers. Most of them cost at least $30 and don't have the ability to fold away like this one. Like I stated above, I only paid $8 for this and I had the zip ties laying around. If you're looking for a bottle pouch for your shoulder strap, this will work excellently at a fraction of the cost, especially if you use larger widemouth bottles!

Lightweigh holder, not too fancy. A bit difficult to attach to backpack strap. It fits around thin shoulder straps, not wide ones. But also has straps with buttons, and I used that. But somehow I made it work, and with all types of bottles.

So practical!! Straps could be better but managed to make it work, so happy with it!

Use this every time I go backpacking. It is a very useful option for me to buy. Has either a carabiner connection or will fit to your belt with its built in loop. Having water to drink on the fly is so important to me when I’m on the trail.
