BIG Savings for a little work!!
This was the perfect fix -- my old mini remote/key ended up losing the lock button, so being able to just get this case with the three buttons worked perfectly. I was skeptical, but once it came in a day, I found it to be exactly as represented, and even had the little "mini wings" which didn't show in the post. This one was easy to open, but getting the factory case to open was a little challenging, but with some patience and tenacity, it finally opened, and was an easy process to swap and put the new case together! The mini dealer quoted about $200 to get a replacement.

Avoid this shell.
Not great. I bought 2 of these since the buttons on my regular keys were falling off. The keys come with no installation instructions and took me about an hour to swap. This shell does not fit the default physical key so be prepared to carry 2 keys instead of 1. I also had one of the outer rings snap. This case also reduces the range of the key to an insultingly small radius. I recommend buying a defective key on a third party marketplace and get a professional to transfer it instead.

It works. Just swap your old fobs circuit board and youโre good to go.
