An Amazing Resource for the Data Science Job Search!
This book has been an absolute godsend and I don't know what I would do without it. Searching for a DS job can be very confusing and there is a lot of information online and it's hard to know what to trust. Luckily, this book breaks it down for you in an accessible and engaging way; the authors are incredibly knowledgeable. It covers the major steps involved from resume building, cold emailing, behavioral interviews, and technical interviews. I like that the book highlights what is most important in the job search process, so I can use my limited time to focus on those areas (for me, they are tailoring my resume for a recruiter and practicing SQL). I have not dug into all the technical questions from real companies but I'm glad those exist for me to practice with. Overall, I cannot recommend this book enough for anyone looking for a job in data and it is easily the best resource out there. Well worth the price and delivers tremendous ROI.

A good Resource for Data Science Interview Prep, But Not Perfect
As someone preparing for data science interviews, I found "Ace the Data Science Interview" to be a valuable resource overall. The book covers a wide range of topics that are crucial for anyone looking to break into the field or advance their career. The 201 real interview questions from top companies like Facebook, Google, and Amazon are definitely the highlight. It's great to see actual questions being asked in the industry, and the step-by-step solutions provided are generally helpful. I particularly appreciated the chapters on Probability, Statistics, and Machine Learning, which gave me a good refresher on key concepts. The book's structure is well-thought-out, with each chapter starting with a brief crash course on important concepts and formulas. This format made it easy to review topics quickly before diving into the practice questions. However, there are a few areas where the book could improve. Some of the solutions felt a bit rushed or oversimplified, and I occasionally found myself seeking additional explanations online. The case study questions and product analytics sections were interesting, but I felt they could have been more in-depth. Despite these minor drawbacks, I still found the book to be a valuable part of my interview preparation. It's not a one-stop solution, but it's definitely a strong addition to any aspiring data scientist's study materials.

Covers data science foundations
Great book. I needed a refresher, a hook that covers all the foundations from math to deep learning. This book has it all. Enough depth to help you refresh , and if you are new it can help you get up to speed, focus on what matters. I like the questions as well, some are pretty interesting and can be challenging as well.

Invaluable Resource for Data Science Interview Prep!
This book is a game-changer for anyone preparing for data science interviews. What I appreciate most is the abundant practical advice and the clearly delineated breakdown of topics and subtopics. In the past, I've struggled with interview preparation resources that just list thick, overwhelming textbooks, most of which aren't even relevant to actual interviews. This book is the complete opposite. It provides such a clear roadmap, helping me understand exactly what to focus on and delve deeper into, and what I can confidently set aside. This focused approach is incredibly valuable and makes the preparation process so much more efficient and less daunting. Highly recommend!

Excellent Resource for Aspiring and Practicing Data Scientists
This book is a fantastic resource for anyone interested in data science, whether you're just starting out or already working in the field. It provides a solid foundation in key concepts such as statistics, machine learning, and data visualization, with clear explanations and practical examples. What I especially appreciated was the balance between theory and applicationโeach chapter includes real-world use cases and Python code that you can immediately try out. The author's writing is accessible without oversimplifying, making even complex topics like model evaluation or deep learning understandable. If you're looking to deepen your understanding of data science or prepare for technical interviews, this book is well worth the investment. Highly recommended!

Broad Concepts and Preparation for Depth
This is a great book to broaden your scope in Data Scientist in addition to assisting with interview preparation. This is my second purchase (gifted the first to a colleague) and its always refreshing to read it. Advise: Read each chapter and follow up with reading the topics in detail from statistical books like Introduction to Statistical Learning etc.

What else do you need?
It's my personal mission to help young people to find their dream job and to succeed in their career. During the years I was asked like zillion times "What would I be asked during the interview?" And believe it or not these are not just juniors. As a technical person I always start talking about algorithms, data structures, logic.... But this book gave more. What I really like about it the first chapters where you will find valuable tips how to behave during the interview, how to write your CV which will land you to your interview. Believe it or not even with internet I constantly get CVs that are not even OK. One of my favourite topics Statistics and Probability is covered in good level of depth. I like the sample tasks and the explanations. I really don't like books with no answers. How would a junior know if he is right or wrong. My personal opinion is that the book will serve you only good. I hope to see a new and bigger editions with more sample tasks. I will for sure recommend it to my students as well. All of them are dreaming for Facebook and Google careers! Great work guys! Thanks!
