Q: Has Philips changed the led controller where you can't split the strips to go into two directions? I don't see that connector compatible

I have a setup that goes from controller to one of these “Direct to controller” adapters and then to a splitter. From the splitter you then need to go back to either the small pinout (another direct to controller) for the start of the strip or if you have cut a strip you will need a connector which can connect to the cut part of the strip directly. Litcessory sells one of those also.

Hi there! This particular product is the direct-to-controller adapter. You would want this if you need to connect directly to a Philips Hue controller box with the detachable light strip. Q: Can i connect 4 runs with one control box and power adapter?

I connected 3 runs, I used the direct-to-controller off the control box then a splitter for 2 runs ..then used the RJ45 to 6-Pin for my third run.
