Just what I needed magnet is strong great item

I bought 2 sets of these curtain tie backs. They are really beautiful. I bought a toasted wheat color, and I bought the red, which is a luscious shade of cherry red or leaning to a burgundy but not a deep wine red. They look very elegant. BUT the magnets on the ends are not very strong. I have light drapes upstairs that are the equivalent of or a tad heavier than a sheer and they hold those very well, but if you slip the tie onto the drape and then try to scoot the tie up a bit higher the tie just releases. It isn't a strong magnetic hold. My other room has heavier drapes, and I wasn't sure it would hold them at all...it does, but one strong breeze or hitting the bottom of the heavier drape with the vacuum and they fall off. It's almost as if the metal case on the tips or the chrome painted covering is inhibiting it's holding power. I really like them, and I'm using them, but if you have a heavy drape or drape plus a sheer, or a wider than one panel section that you want to tie back with these, then I don't think these will work. I would sort of recommend as they're really really pretty, but just be aware of the weak magnetic holding power.

I wanted a Tie Back with alittle bling but not to fancy. These are perfect for any room. I love that they are magnetic. They have a very stron hold. Grant price & good value will last forever and come in several colors. I recommend these if you wany some bling but not to much

If you get these for big thick curtains, you will love these. However for thin curtains, forget it! These are far too heavy for lightweight curtains. Fortunately I can use these on a different set of curtains in my home, but don't work for the curtains I wanted them for. Quality is excellent and strong magnets.

Everyone that comes into the room we have these in comments on how great they look. No one can believe they're magnets! They hold incredibly well. I have very large windows and each tie-back is holding 3 curtains---2 are thinner sheers and 1 is a thicker curtain---with no problems at all. The silver magnet gives it just the right amount of contrast to break it all up because the tie-backs I bought are almost identical to the color of the curtains. I do have them held with hooks because there are 3 curtains being held back. In another room, I'm using one tie-back to pull 2 curtains to one side. And in that room, I don't even have the tie-back hanging to a hook. I just have the tie-back holding the curtains, held at an angle, and it works just fine---no hook needed. These are GREAT! I wish these existed years ago. Why didn't someone think of this sooner!?!

These are very nice and very beautiful if your curtains are bulky enough to fit!! I love them, but had to return them because the design I was trying to achieve wouldn’t work with these. I wanted to wrap them around one curtain panel on each side of the large window, but my curtains weren’t thick enough to hold them in place. I totally recommend them for bulky thick curtains!!

These are attractive and doing the job intended. I wouldn't say the magnets are especially 'strong' though. Overall, good for the price.

Beautiful, strong magnets and functional

Purchased for my van to keep really light curtains draped back. Perfect nice sage colour. Really large (see pics) however magnets are poor quality. Knock them slightly and they move.
