Works well once reset to Europe wifi but it would not connect with their European/UK hub without a fair amount of resetting and liaison with tech support. I was expecting this so was not a problem for me.

TLDR: If you own a home, you NEED these. Plain and simple. Buy them, set them up, forget about them, and they will save your ass WHEN something leaks. Because eventually, something WILL leak. As a first time home buyer, I got paranoid about the stuff I couldn't control. What happens when the sink, the dishwasher, the water heater, the fridge, or anything else decides to leak while I'm asleep or away from home? I did some research and found these YoLink leak detectors. They have saved my ass multiple times and have EASILY saved me 10's of thousands of dollars by telling me about a leak the second it started, instead of days later when I happened to walk by and notice it. Example: I had a sensor in the basement next to my water heater and sump pump. We got 6 inches of rain overnight and one of my sump pumps failed. At 2am this thing went off and woke me up (via 'priority notifications' on the iPhone, sends a loud alert even if your phone is on silent). I ran downstairs and found water already seeping into the basement in a couple of spots, and it was coming in FAST. I got the pump running again, rode out the storm, and replaced the pump once things calmed down. Without that sensor, I would have slept straight through it and woke up to ankle deep water and tens of thousands of dollars in remediation. Instead, I was out a new sump pump and a few hours of sleep. Setup is extremely simple. Order the hub with a few sensors, connect the hub to your wifi/ethernet, stick the sensors under anything that can leak, set up your notifications and alarms and you're done. From then on you sleep peacefully knowing that if something leaks, you WILL be notified and you can actually do something about it. No subscriptions or monthly fee BS. You buy them once and they just work. Seriously, order these things. What you spend today is nothing compared to what one missed leak costs you. I've got like 8+ leak sensors all around my home at this point.

The hub and temperature sensors work well and are connected immediately. I purchased the 3-pack water leak sensors but did not realise the difference between UC and EC on the labels. UC does not work in the UK; you need to buy EC. I contacted tech support, but after an initial hello, I have been ghosted!

I love this brand. It's inexpensive but works perfectly. The app is super simple to use and these devices are easy to deploy. Support is OUTSTANDING. I have over 25 YoLink products. I had a problem with 1 and they replaced it free of charge answering the email within a day.

These little things are one of the best investments I've made in many years. So easy to use and setup, and at a very reasonable price for what they've already saved me. I've had them maybe a month and they've already saved my butt at least twice. I installed a 4-gal booster water heater in the kitchen cabinet near my sink (not directly under the sink; you know that completely useless space in the corner of your lower kitchen cabinets? Yeah, not so useless anymore!). Not someplace one would check regular for leaks. Dummy me didn't properly tighten the pressure release attachment on top of the water heater. Well, this little guy alerted me before it became a major repair job. Thanks YoLink! BTW, I also have the temp/humidity probes in my garage fridge/freezer to alert me if one of the kids leave the door open again ;). Great products and great app.
