How could I use this without the original kit? Can I save money by buying this alone?

Is this genuine Taylor brand or an "equivalent?"

All the bottles have the Taylor brand on the label but there is no "manufactured by" on the bottles.

The powder bottle is half way full! Is this normal? My others have been very close to the top.

I am looking to buy replacements for the kit I currently have and was confused by this container looking twice as big as the one I currently have but with the same amount of weight in it, so you saying that your container is only half full makes sense then. I was hoping this container was actually double the weight as the one I have and it was just a print error and it was actually going to be 20g but I guess it is not. Very weird that they would not double the amount for the container size but the weight is accurate I would imagine. Your container is just twice the size of mine with the same amount in it as mine (10g), hence the reason yours is only half full.

Is the drop size the same as the original bottle that comes with the kit? the drops seem a little larger to me

The nozzle on the larger bottle appears to be the same size as on the smaller size and I have not observed that the drops are any larger.
