I had no confidence is this type of plier before using the Klien pliers!
I always treated this type of plier as a throwaway... They were commonly provided as part of tool kits for various things in the distant past (e.g., motorcycles, cars) and were in tool bundles from a certain, once commanding, big box store's line of tools. They barely worked... they all slipped like crazy and some were so bad the jaw adjustment would slip in use. I decided to give these a try when I saw someone on YouTube using the Klein version. In fact, I bought two different sizes, 6" and 8". I don't regret it... they work great! The small one is a regular part of my long distance bicycle trip tool kit and have proven their worth on the road.

cuts tie wire easily, used it to put hose on puddle pump when didnt have wrench, good quality, jaws are aligned another good klein tool
