Adapted from the 2009 Stephen King novel, this provocative sci-fi series depicts the life and times of the residents of (fictional) Maine town Chester's Mill after a bizarre force field takes shape and traps everyone in the town inside it's borders. Review: Great show.. and great packaging!! - I can't believe the packaging on this set of DVDs! This has got to be the best packaging I have ever got with a set of dvds. It is not in a standard flimsy little box. This box is about as rugged as it gets. It is more like a well built thick plastic case with rounded edges. Who ever built the case is a genius. My only issue is that some of the dvds had slipped off the little plastic spindles during transport and were rattling around in the package. I tend to be a bit obsessive about the care of dvds .. so that one annoyed me a little bit. But not enough to take stars away. This is a really great series to sit down and binge watch over a rainy weekend. The characters are really great and easy to get attached to. Most of the situations are enough to keep a person watching. The series did get a little weird towards the end, unfortunately .. and it seemed like they could have done more with it by way of another season or two. But overall .. I enjoyed it enough to want it for my own library. So must be it was pretty good. Review: Relive the past with older series - LOVED this series. It was a great addition to our collection as we have been enjoying going back over older shows and watching them either for the first time - or again. Package came undamaged, and all of the discs worker as they should.

Great show.. and great packaging!!

Relive the past with older series

Good Series
My husband and I wanted to see beyond season 1 so I got this for his birthday. We read many reviews that said beyond season 1 wasn't worth it so my hopes weren't high but my curiosity was still there. It was good and it took a twist toward the end that I didn't see coming. It actually has some relatable moments in it that make me scratch my head about the real world and it has some moments that are really neat that are unique to the show that make me wish the real world had that. After all was said and done, I still have questions unanswered that I don't believe they gave a solid answer for that are very important to understand the show fully but that leaves me to watch it again. I don't think I will find the answers. I think they took a turn and changed things making the answer 1 thing for part of the show and a different answer another part of the show. There can be only 1 answer though. I won't spoil it for you as to what it is I am wondering.

Good Limited TV Series Great to Own on DVD
Only saw first series when on TV many years ago and it did intrigue me so decided to buy the dvd set to watch it all.

All disks perfect!!
Since i do not have a tv bundle, and channel on-air reception is practically nil since 9/11, series that i may have seen a couple of episodes but never the end of the story...i now try to obtain dvds so "binging" is possible. Having come across some "flatearth" people and their ideas of earth being covered by a dome..the connection to this series got me wanting to see if there was any "predictive programming" in the story. I was not disappointed. . .it had all the elements, government involvement, ET takeover, apocalyptic responses of people under stress.. .also, the extras on the disks make the experience worthwhile. . .the suspense is sustained, the effects are remarkable, and the disks all played perfectly, and am quite satisfied with the purchase.

Excellent condition and securely packaged. Arrived within the expected timeframe. Would purchase again from this seller. (Enjoyable sci-fi/supernatural mini-series. Watched series when originally released but apparently missed some of the episodes. Re-watching it gained different insights.) Blend of Stephen King and Dean Koontz.
