It tastes pretty good with a low cal and high protein ratio. The delivery itself however, had me disappointed. The product came melted, so who knows how it was stored and kept. It also got me thinking about the microplastics in it. But this is on Amazon of course and not the product itself.

I eat one of these bars after a cardio session and prior to a few hours of yardwork. I initially purchased the combination pack from Costco but didn’t eat the peanut bars and didn’t really like the plain chocolate ones. Settled on the chocolate chip and haven’t looked back. Sometimes they seem to be in short supply so I tend to order accordingly.

Reasonably priced for 20g protein pack. Low sugar unlike other protein bars (Clif, Gatorade w/ high sugar). Texture is more like a candy bar not a bland health bar. Will keep reordering

Update: I've tried four flavors of these bars: these, peanut butter chocolate, cookies and cream, and birthday cake. Ranking them in taste from best to worst: PB, these, cake, then cookies. The first three are enjoyable, the PB are actually fantastic and I'm not huge on PB. The cookies and cream are awful.Here's a quick description of these bars.Texture: Dense, a bit like fudge but thicker. There's chocolate chunks and little crispy bites in these that add much needed texture.Taste: Surprisingly good. These are a sweet little treat with a lot of protein that keep me full.Size: SMALL. These bars are easily half the size of typical protein bars.Overall, I'm a BIG fan of these bars. Will be buying again and hoping to find another good flavor. I wasn't a fan of the chocolate.

The chocolate chip is my favorite flavor of all the Pure Protein bars so far. I can describe the taste as best as low-sugar, dark chocolate cookie dough. It's decently sweet, but not as sweet as full-sugar cookie dough.The texture is chewy, but not grainy like most protein bars, it is very smooth. I always find Pure Protein bars to be very digestable, this is definitely one of the lighter ones to digest. As always they keep me feeling full for hours.The ratio of protein to calories is 1 gram of protein : 10 calories, which is the golden standard for protein bars. It does contain artificial sweetener like sucralose, however, I don't mind it, that's just personal preference.This is the perfect snack for a rushed morning, if you have tons of things to do, eat it on the drive to work.It keeps me satiated for a few hours, and I always start my mornings off with one.Don't expect this to taste like candy however, it is still a protein bar, all they have to mask the horrible protein flavor is a bit of artificial sweetener and flavorings, it is definitely top tier flavor for a protein bar.
