Good buy! Small but does the job. Very sturdy.

Nice security box for the price
This drawer safe, like all similar safes, is really more of a security box than a real safe. That can also be said for safes many times more expensive, though. A burglar could take the whole safe and open it later. It includes bolts for fastening to the drawer bottom, but in most cases the entire drawer could be taken, so I probably won't even use those. For what it is, it seems sturdy and serves its purpose. It's also very easy to use. I bought it because a family member has the slightly larger model and is pleased with it. The lock has been updated so that it's more difficult to pick and the batteries seem secure. It's easy to reset the number code and the master code, which is a second number code for opening the safe. Set your code by pressing the reset button beside the batteries and enter three to eight numerals, then the # key. To reset the master or second code, press 0 twice, then the reset button, then the other code you want and the # key. It might come with a preset master code so be sure to enter two new codes of your own. To initially open the safe, remove the keyhole cover, insert one of the keys, and turn the key and the knob toward each other. Then open and insert the batteries and set both your number codes. Test before closing the safe. Directions are included. It can then be opened with either of your number codes or with the two keys in case the batteries die or you forget your codes. This fits in my nightstand drawer but is too tall to fit in my kitchen drawers. The height is about 4-5/8". The inside is large enough to hold two compact pistols, jewelry, small tablet, or similar items. The depth is reduced by the thickness of the locking mechanism on the inside of the lid, though, so thick items won't fit. This should be enough security to keep out young kids, friends of friends, or any visitors with sticky fingers or who are overly nosy. it probably won't protect things from a burglary when you're not home. The larger models will bolt to the floor or wall framing and would be a more secure, but this one conveniently fits in a drawer. I had a similar one that cost over twice as much but I like this one better so far.

GREAT safe for money. See review and pics.
Great little safe! Not fireproof but for what I needed it for it's perfect. Update. I lost my house this past week to a fire. It was a total loss. Somehow this safe made it with 4 handguns in it as well as ammo and various paperwork. It still managed to open USING KEYPAD when the firefighters brought it out!!!! I can't recommend this safe enough now.

Perfect, multipurpose safe for just about everybody.
- Easy and fast to setup, manual is super easy to follow - Fingerprint reader works great - Does unlock with fingerprint only - great for super fast access - Secure key entry (the key is not a joke) - Backup power source for the keypad/fingerprint reader included in case batteries go out locking you out - If you want to convert it to key-only: just remove the battery and break the USB port after setting a pin and registering the fingerprints) - Great company to deal with, because they reply very fast, are happy to help, and are always incredibly professional and friendly (when I locked myself out of the safe, they did the most rigorous checks, and custom-made a replacement key in half the scheduled time). - Great for hiding weapons, cell phones, game station controllers from kids - Great for hiding your most expensive liquor bottles from guests - Great for hiding your most expensive spices, teas or chocolate from significant others or roommates (use fingerprint access for rapid midnight chocolate snacking when half asleep ;) - Great for hiding stuff from snoopy girlfriends and landlords in case of unauthorized entry - Fingerprint reader ensures super fast access (great for rapid emergency self-protection weapon access) - The fingerpring reader reads dry hands well - The fingerprint reader is textured to prevent fingerprint lifting off the device - The front door and the locking mechanism is very hefty and top notch - Great for car travel: just wheel it into your motel or hotel room or carry it inside a consealing luggage with rolling wheels (it's better than any upper-middle class hotel safe) After doing some research I decided on this safe vs. the twice+ more expensive and much heavier Sanctuary Home & Office save. Both can be picked up and carried away, but this one is lighter. If you don't want it to ever move, you can bolt it down to concrete and nobody will move it or fill it up with your gold bricks :) However, in case of a fire, I would want to quickly grab and carry out my safe full of guns and ammo, documents etc to prevent ammo from going off due to exessive heat. So the size-weight combination is absolutely perfect. I usually prefer super the heavy multi-thousand dollar safes to be installed during construction to reduce the risk of carry-out, but most people just build their own fire-proof safes or have them custom built. So for this size safe, I find this one is absolutely perfect, multi-purpose and won't be looking to upgrade. If you are a hotel owner, make sure to contact the company directly and ask for bulk contract pricing. Their products look very stylish. The build is great. The company works great with everybody. The response time to questions/requests is almost instant. As always, if you use fingerprint authorization for corporate security, make sure to refer to company's security specialist before registering fingerprints anywhere. Make sure to remove and keep the safe ID label in case you need key replacement. To set the PIN/Fingerprint, I needed to push the reset button once, instead of holding it like the manual instructs. Everything else is perfect.

Great Safe with one small hiccup
The safe arrived in good condition however due to what I can only assume was some rough handling in shipping the safe keypad and screen did not work however if anyone else experiences this you just remove 2 screws on the inside of the door and underneath that cover I found a ribbon cable that had wiggled loose and once I reseated it the safe worked perfect. I just wanted to put that out there in case anyone has the same issue and is facing having to send it back. Sturdy Build otherwise and decent value for money.

Great Value, Solid Safe.
AmazonBasics Security Safe 0.5 Cubic Feet General: I purchased the safe from Amazon Warehouse Deals (the item was backordered and I wanted to get something in place before traveling). I couldn't even tell that it had been "refurbished" or "used". All of the necessary pieces were included-2 keys, instruction manual, 4 anchors and the safe itself. If you are concerned about the safe not being fire rated, just buy a fire resistant bag and call it good. Install: I had zero issues with the installation. I ended up only using two of the drywall anchors that were included. I was able to use 3" lag bolts into a stud for the other two. Overkill? Probably, but that safe isn't coming out without the stud attached to it. I read a few reviews of users saying, "the included anchors didn't fit through the hole of the safe". That is by design. Simply take the anchor assembly apart, slide the bolt head and washer through the safe and reattach on the other side. Just an FYI, the included anchors are designed to be used in masonry or brick but will work in drywall. If you just plan on mounting it to the wall, go grab a few carriage bolts with some spring toggles and you should be good to go. Mounting to the floor? Get a lag bolt with a good "bite" to it. Sink those suckers in and you are ready to go. Usage: Keypad was easy to program and the backup keys worked great. Things that beep drive me nuts so I went ahead and got rid of the pcb mounted speaker immediately. Simply unscrew the two phillips head screws, disconnect power (I might as well tell people to play it safe) and pull the the PCB assembly. You have a couple options here. 1. Poke a hole through the speaker (long cylindrical piece making the obnoxious sound). 2. Put a glue or epoxy into the speaker. 3. Put a small piece of duct tape or electrical tape covering the hole (if you want to have the option of removing it at some point). 4. Use a soldering iron and desolder the connection points (I am a bit of a perfectionist and like things to have a clean appearance). 5. Take a pair of pliers and rip the darn thing off. I have had zero troubles with the safe of the operation of the safe so far. Pros: *Easy to install. *Secures to wall very securely. *Piece of mind living in an apartment that valuables can't just get swiped. *Good size, which makes this easy to stash away in a closet or inconspicuous location. *The two shelf spaces. It makes organizing the safe much easier. *Heck of alot better than my old "safe" that I could open with the end of my fingernail clippers. Cons: *Beeper is annoying. *Beeper is annoying. *None. Summary: You are getting what you pay for here. Sure, it isn't Fort Knox but it will stop or slow down would be robbers/roommates/junkies/maintenance men with sticky fingers etc. I plan on buying a couple more just because, I am an American, and that's how we role. Enjoy!

2.13 cu ft 143 lb safe
The bolt down device is gasketed to keep it waterproof and is a little tricky to install. There is no interior lighting on this model,

Seems good. Should have bought a bigger one.
This safe is good. It was easy to set up. I like that there are keys in case of emergency. The locking mechanism/dial on the inside of the door, takes up room inside the safe. So 8.5 x 11" documents don't fit nicely. They get bent over. The next larger size is probably what I need.

Solid, sturdy and compact, at a great price
Surprisingly solid feel to it considering how itโs compact and the price of it, so far no problems, great price and seems like a great product; thanks Amazon

Basic and Functional
It is a very basic safe. It can be used to keep things from people in the household (e.g. dangerous things from children). I doubt it has much value against break-ins. It is heavy but can still be carried away by an adult. Of course, it can be nailed to the wall but I am not handy enough to do that. My family members including myself have the habit of misplacing important documents, which is what I bought it for. In this sense, I use it as a storage cabinet. It is large enough to store a 15'' laptop (17'' might work too but one has to wriggle it a bit to put it in).

Qualita' costruttiva molto buona. Ottimo rapporto qualita'/prezzo.

Very sturdy and well made
Was looking for a well built and light safe to keep some stuff in and was pleasantly surprised at how well made this safe is. It was exactly what I was looking for. Kinda reminds me of those little hotel room safes but more spacious. It has a passcode and comes with two keys that overrides the passcode. I suggest you hide the keys somewhere safe and well hidden. Great buy and great price.
