Can you remove the hooks?

Yes with a little tugging. But why would you want to remove it?

Do these have that disgusting gooey adhesive on them or are they just a soft rubber like material?

It's just the rubber, no glue. However, they don't stick worth a crap.

Do they hold up good in water? I want to out lights in a pool

i would guess NO. They worked great inside on glass.

Large and small diameters of center button?

2 and 3/8” outer diameter, first ring inside is 1 1/8” it’s larger than what I had so my window ornaments stay on window. It flattens on the window.I tried to get a video but tha is not responding..
