Very practical for all occassions and easy to assemble with a light bulb and just clamp that baby where you desire to perch your light. Nice lengthy cord attached which is a big plus cause that gives more options for where to place it. Well made and functional. Love it.

Great product, needed to add lighting to our closets, and this extension did the trick perfectly. Started of by placing the switch at the preferred height and reach, and then staple gun the wires along the wall to desired outlet and location. Overall, for less than $15, I was able to add lighting to 2 closets. FYI, use good light bulbs, that's key to your final results.

I love the convenience of this clamp. So often I find myself working on something where I just need that extra bit of light in a certain place and stationary lighting isn't always positioned in the right place, or angled correctly, flashlights can be cumbersome or difficult to hold in place while working and don't provide enough light so this Clamp-Socket Combo is perfect. You can clamp it on to just about anything - a table ledge, the edge of an existing light fixture, a fence, anywhere the clamp will fit and the electrical cord will reach. A big help when I'm working on beading projects or sculpting fine details.

I love blow mold decorations but because they are old, the Light kits for them sometimes have to be replaced. The replacement kits run from $20-$40. My giant pumpkin needed the light replaced and I didn’t want to spend the money. It wasn’t easy but I was able to clamp this light to the inside of the pumpkin through the opening for the light kit in the back. Then added a led light (changed all the lights in the decorations to led), connected it to the timer and it worked perfectly. It’s a tight squeeze getting my hand in the pumpkin with the light clipped to the opening to change the light but hopefully that won’t happen for a long time!

I tried to use this clamp on light socket but it didn't work out for what I needed it for and so I returned it. I found the clamp to be too small and stiff and difficult to use. If I had needed it to clamp onto a thinner space, it probably would have worked out well.

I read reviews before I purchase this and noticed that there were several expressing that the cover of the light was damaged . I did not want a cover for the light because the light I was using was the new full-spectrum grow light. I'm pleased to tell you it came just as it was described I didn't have any trouble with the clamp. My experience is that this was perfect for what I wanted it for I had no issues with that and I'm very pleased with my purchase and if I need additional grow lights I would definitely buy this again.

Clamp has a tight grip & stays in place, it works great with my heavy sansi grow light bulb! No complaints

I'm using it with a fairly heavy led spotlight bulb. The socket and clip hold it in place securely. Exactly what I needed.

The clamp isn't strong enough most of the time to hold a lamp in place, and the plastic around where you screw in the bulb chips easily, creating jagged edges you can cut yourself on.

I bought a red light for therapy and although the clip is very strong, and hard to open, the rubber still slips off the wood cupboard I hang it from. Ill use it for other types of light, maybe for outside. *kanye shrug*
