The single most useful textbook for introductory and first year undergraduate study
The best first year undergraduate text out there, and always has been in my opinion. Clearly written, well integrated through the chapters, excellent visual layout (neither dull nor a distracting 'colour-fest' ), and combines supportive teaching whilst also stretching students. It is the most useful of the main textbooks (Begg, Lipsey, Parkin etc), and can also serve as a fuller reference text for A-level students who want to build out their knowledge and obtain top marks. It is also more or less politically neutral (just a few very mild hints of being centre left), as compared to the Core Econ project which IMO is normatively engaged to a significant degree.

It arrived damaged!
It came damaged with corners bent up and marks which is not what i expect when paying £50 for a book.

Poor quality
I've never had a textbook where the paper so thin that you can read word for word what's on the page behind it. For £57 I don't expect the cheapest possible paper to be used.

Obsolescence planifiée ?
Achetée en version Kindle en septembre 2023 celle ci n'est déjà plus lisible sur ma tablette android 8. On me demande de mettre à jour kindle ce qui n'a aucun effet. (idem avec mon pc sous Windows 11)
