I want to connect 4 pcs so I can have a 4ft long rod for my camera slider rails. This should be fine right? Is the joint strong enough?

If you are joining the rails together and only bracing across the 2-4' rails at the ends, I'd say no. You should have some sort of cross brace every foot. Both ends and two somewhere in the middle, would make for a strong 4' rail. I have not seen any rails that long, with just bracing. At the endsDaveMount Joy, PA

Are they threaded all of the way through ?

No they are not, I would say 3/4 inch deep.

Which rods for sony fs7 with fe pz 28-135mm g oss lens kit ?

You will need a mount block/plate of some kind that will accept the rods. I cannot advise you regarding the mount block/plate.
