Great blanket for the price. Warm and fairly soft. Not as nice as my old one that's about 40 yrs. old, but I would get another.

I purchased the queen/full and have enjoyed the warm snuggly goodness since the night it arrived at my front door two weeks ago. The common complaint about this blanket (sheds too much, smells) I encountered right away. There is however a simple remedy for the above problems: First: Wash the offending blanket on the gentle cycle with Woolite and put copious amounts of white vinegar in the rinse cycle. Wash it not once, but TWICE with white vinegar in the rinse cycle both times. With the 2nd washing, do an additional extra rinse and extra spin to get it as bone dry as possible. Second: Put it in the dryer with a couple of dryer sheets on the delicate cycle for 20 minutes. Check dryness, if not dry enough, do additional dryings at 10 minute increments, checking each time. Huzzah! Not only warm and soft, but less fluff and no more offending odor. Countary to what people may think, wool can be washed at home in the washing machine, you just have to proceed with caution. Good blanket

I would give it Zero stars! I ordered 4 and am returning 3. Complete Junk! I wouldn't accept this if it was free. Why? It is shedding EVERYWHERE and BADLY! I tried salvaging the one I opened by felting it in the washer and dryer 5 times, even though it says dry clean. DO NOT do it! It may clog your washer & dryer! Right now I have it hanging on the clothesline, and I'm probably going to just take the loss and toss the piece of junk. It also says it's 100% merino wool. Not sure how they come up with that because obviously it has some sort of silky binding and the base layer mesh does not appear to be wool. Now I'm out $$$ and this was an expensive mistake. Save yourself from cleaning up the massive shedding litter and money!!! Very disappointed!!!

I so looked forward to the delivery of this merino wool blanket. Many years ago I had a wool blanket and absolutely loved it. Not this one!! Very disappointed!! It sheds and it sheds and it sheds!! The wool balls are on the floor, on my pajamas, and all over the blanket. Very expensive to be so offensive!

This is a very nice blanket and it is very warm. It is not overly hot on those not so cold nights. My only complaint is that the blanket is shedding very badly. I hope this is just because it is new.

The blanket was everything that I expected. It's exactly as advertised. What more can you ask for? Is it soft as synthetic? Nope it's wool. Wool is a little rough but under sheets, its as soft as your sheets. It's as thick as all other wool blankets I remember as a kid in the 50s and 60s. It's warm like only wool can be but it breaths like only natural fibers can, so I've not overheated with it. So, if you've worn wool and like it or have had a wool blanket before and liked it then this is a blanket that will satisfy.

I love it! I was always sweating under my comforter and this blanket keeps me wonderfully warm and never too hot. Only negative things are it has to be dry cleaned instead of machine wash, and it does shed some fuzz when it is new.
