A Hat in Time - PlayStation 4

I specifically went out of my way to find this game since I played a friend's copy previously. It is in essence a 3D platformer where you play as a space travelling girl (child) that is forced to search for her ship fuel (hour glasses) after someone busts a hole in her ship. The main cast of characters are actually pretty snarky throughout the game and their dialogue is not the usual "oh, hello X. Let me kiss the ground you walk on!" The dialogue does not change if you talk to them again, but the way it is written made me laugh a few times. You run around smacking enemies with an umbrella too, which is fairly amusing. The only real annoyance I have with the game is each hour glass collected completes the level and takes you back to the ship to select the next level. There is only ONE level in the late game where you need to run around and collect several hour glasses at once while doing a series of tasks. Problem with that is it feels like the developers just threw it together in one level to be done with it. It is not like Yooka Laylee where you can stay in the level as long as you want and collect multiple items. I wish it was. Overall, it is a 5 star because A) I liked the game and played it through the final boss, B) I got about 30 hours of time out of it, C) There is STILL more to complete if I chose, and D) The dialogue amused me. It is overall what I expected/wanted, and my personal grip above is just me wishing more games were like Yooka Laylee in level design. I would recommend it is you like 3D platforms, or if you find it on a decent sale.

The game looked nice and ran well on the PS5; however, the local co-op was horrible. One player has control of the camera, and there is no split screen which made it difficult for the second player to actually play the game.

Bought as a Christmas present for nephews

Es de los mejores juegos indie que he jugado, si creciste con Mario y banjo en el 64 este juego debe de estar en tu colección. Ya lo tenía dijital en PS4 y PC pero quería una copia física por lo que me alegra que exista esta edición. La version que recomiendo es la de la pc si tienes una que lo pueda correr y no te importa mucho tener una versión física y en definitiva no recomiendo la versión de switch, la compré antes que está porque era la única versión física en su momento pero corre y se ve horrible en switch.

Hat Kid is cute, she jumps and collects things. Wish there was a Definitive Edition i just want all DLC on disc but this just has Seal the Deal.

Llego sin celofan pero en general esta bien, no le pongo 5 estrellas ya que me entra la duda si es usado, aunque se ve muy bien en estado.

Me salió barato, no tenía algún libro de guía, más que solamente el disco, así que si se miró algo simple la compra. Pero no me quejo, fue una buena compra.
