How many cans do you think I would need 4 a large livng/dining rm, small bdrm, small kitchn, tiny bathrm? plz any help/advice greatly appreciated

without knowing just how bad the infestation is, I recommend 1 for bathroom & kitchen, 1 per bedroom, 1 for living room. Spray on the bugs directly or it doesn't work. You probably wouldn't actually need much if any in kitchen and bathroom, but I believe in spares. Also, look up on your mouldings around your ceilings and your baseboards. Good Luck!!

Groucho, In theory, treatments will be active for 2 weeks or more according to the label. But typically what will happen is that following your initial spraying, many will die. And though there will be a "residual" active that can continue to kill, it will loose its ability to kill quickly. This means you will probably see some sick bugs wandering around. This is normal and to be expected. So when should you respray? The label doesn't specify but again, it does read that it can "control...up to 2 weeks". So spraying every 2 weeks would be fine; once a week should be plenty and may be needed for a bad problem. The good news is this product contains the egg controlling active so eventually it will break the cycle because eggs won't be able to mature into reproducing adults. Instructions say to spray around tufts and seams of mattress, and not the entire surface of mattress. Can I do entire mattress anyway?

Jerry, You can apply this product to open areas but in general you'll be wasting time and chemical. Bedbugs won't be out in the open and if they are, a good vacuuming will remove them. But the edges, seams, tufts and ruffles of fabric (basically the areas the label lists) are in fact the high risk locations and why they're specifically listed.
