I recently I recently purchased these lights, and I couldn’t be happier with their performance. They are incredibly bright and reliable, making them perfect for my outdoor activities. This is a powerful little light. I wish other manufacturers would offer something like this that's rechargeable with an adjustable beam, but for a AAA powered unit, this does the trick. Battery life is questionable, it will probably run for a few hours if left on. Sometimes it doesn't come on when I click the switch, so sometimes I have to click it a couple of times to get the light to come on, which tells me the QC on these flashlights is questionable, so there's that. I mounted the light on my Crosman 1322 Ratter, this is the pistol I use to take out vermin that traps can't, supposedly Rats can't see red light. So, when I spotted a rat with this pen light, it didn't react as if it would if I hit it with a standard flashlight. The rat didn't move, and remained motionless, until I fired dropping it dead on the floor. Rats are pretty intelligent, and they communicate via squeaks and urine scent, so if a certain area is dangerous, they will mark it and warn others that the area is dangerous for them, you can combat their communication with a spray bottle full of full strength vinegar to help kill oders. This is what I do, your results may vary. But this little red flashlight is a valuable tool if your doing varmint and vermin control. Even though the QC is questionable... A 4 pack at this price is a great deal and deserves 5 Stars.

Fantastic stocking stuffers. Great for walking safely or other tasks in the dark without blowing out your night vision. They are pretty bright but they are tiny. They do require you to add your own batteries.

For the most part I like these lights. They seem to be well built and have had no malfunctions with any of them I’ve tried (like 6 or so). They were reasonably priced which is why I bought the multi pack. I pretty much give one to whomever comes over. I also like the size. It’s pretty standard for a double AAA battery light. My one complaint is that it only has one level and it’s pretty darn bright. I wish it had dimming ability but I still like the lights.

These lights are bright! The red is intense and excellent for night operations where you need to save your night vision.

Well-build, light is perfect balance and, well, red. Have 6 of these and all work well.

I bought these for work because I work a night shift at a hospital and we’re required to carry flashlights, but a common complaint from patient was that the lights were getting in their eyes and waking them up at night: I bought this and shared them with my coworkers and we’ve definitely had an improvement in patient satisfaction because the red light doesn’t wake them up at night. It’s still allows me to see and do my job while not disrupting them.

We like these flashlights but everyone in our family thinks they are too bright. Your eyes have to adjust to the brightness when you first turn them on. It’s not what you would expect from a red light flashlight. It’s annoying enough that we rarely use them anymore.

Issues: (1) There is no instruction coming with this product. You will have to try to eventually figure out which side to put the batteries in. (2) During the attempts, the plastic case of one of the two red lights melted - the black plastic bits that connect to the battery. When I reported the issue to Amazon, Amazon refunded it immediately and does not require to me send the item back. (Thanks Amazon!) (3) The red light is much brighter than I had expected. Not sure if wild animals could accept this yet.

solid aluminum construction. I bought these because I'm taking some friends to a dark sky preserve where only red lights are allowed. I thought they would be dim at this price, but they are actually very bright. Very satisfied.

Would never have thought a red light flashlight could be too bright. Sadly for my eyes at least these are too bright for close in work at night or in the dark.

I have huge nightcrowler population in my backyard so I'm done buying them. I can get them as fresh as possible :)
