My daughter loves this series and we had trouble finding this one. A must for all Harry Potter fans!

The book is good.

It was fine, yet, nothing I did not already know. I would advise it for a perhaps younger, more ignorant audience. It doesn't go much into depth about this complicated character, but it covers the basics. However, with many poster pictures from the movies, and simple summary, it can be quite enjoyable in its own regard. (Note that it covers sections from all seven books/movies. So if one has not watched or read all seven, they should be aware that there may be spoilers.)

This is a perfect set of books for a very young Harry Potter fan. There are numerous pictures from the films and a very clever synopsis of how the characters in the story came to be at Hogwarts. The script is minimum but clear and interesting- ideal for a less experienced but keen reader. The books are easy to hold for smaller hands. We have bought these for our 5 year old grandson who is absolutely delighted with them!
