TAZO Tea

I'm not a connoisseur of tea, but, I liked this tea. It's a great value and selection. I get bored of having only one kind of tea, and find it offputting to spend $1-2+ on expensive, loose leaves, etc. These come out to about $3/month if you drink it every day. It's a lovely nightly ritual. Caffeine free is a plus to me - when I want caffeine, I just take a pill.

This Tazo Assorted Tea is kind of hit of miss for me. It has many different flavors inside of it, so if you are new to drinking tea, or just starting to try new things besides Lipton, this is an ok starter pack. I will describe every flavor that I tried inside of this pack.Awake: Honestly, this just tasted like Lipton to me. There wasn't any difference in flavor, or strength in it. Not because it is just black tea, because I have had black tea that tasted completely different from Lipton before.Calm: It was late at night, and I had a sudden craving for some tea. Enter Calm. I went over and got some hot water, and put the bag inside of the cup. I wondered: "How would this taste?" I then pulled the bag out, and gave a little sip. It tasted horrible. It tasted like I put medicine inside of my tea. I poured this one out right away.Passion: This was one of the best in the box in my opinion. I first tried it plain, and then with a little sugar. It was nice with just a little sugar. I then had an amazing idea for this tea. I opened my Refrigerator and grabbed out the lemon-aid. I poured some into a different cup of Passion, and added ice. I took a sip of it, and my taste buds went rampant for more. It was amazing. I was honestly sad when this one ran out.Refresh: Tasted like a mint tea. Wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either to me. Just your stereotypical mint tea.Earl Grey: This was one of the first times I had tried Earl Grey. It was ok. I didn't hate it. But again, I didn't like it either.China Green Tips: This green tea wasn't half bad. I usually don't like green tea, but I did enjoy this one. Tasted almost earthy to me.Organic Chai: Tasted pretty alright to me. Tasted like your stereotypical spiced tea. Again, nothing special in this one as well.There you have it. I would recommend you just find another Assorted tea pack. This one is nothing special.

Can't go wrong with Tazo products. This is a great assortment of delicious teas. Not sure if the price was as good as if I would have gone into a store but for the convenience and variety pack I find it worth it

I am new to Green Teas, and this is an affordable way to decide which tea I enjoy, and which tea I will "donate" to friends to see if they like that kind. Tazo makes a wonderful teabag, without staples, so I can put the bag in my cup of water in the microwave if needed. I loved the black and flavored teas.

The package arrived with the box crushed and all of the tea bags were lose in the mailing sack. Also, the tea expires next month according to the expiration date. I was very disappointed.

Lost a star because I bought this in a local store also. The expiration of the one shipped by Amazon via TNT deals is 11/2013 and the one from the store expires in 2015. Does this mean these ones from Amazon have been sitting on the shelf for 2 years?I suppose the product is still within expiration, but really cutting it close.I'm not a tea drinker and haven't tried these teas, but my wife and guests love them. We will just use the ones from Amazon first, but in the future, we will just get it locally.

Tea bags are packaged in a used box.I don't care about the appearance of the box, but there are only 23 tea bags inside, which is not acceptable.I got only 2 Passion.I will buy Bigelow next time, because I lost my passion.

I bought this assortment for a true tea lover and they were very pleased with the flavor & aroma of the tea. The assortment was great also. The recipient wants to get more, so it earned 5 stars!
