These kitchen shears are very nice and sharp. The wood handle matches a knife set my wife bought me, I originally only orderd them to match my knife set. They clean really well, I have used them pretty regularly for about 6-8 months now and will work flawlessly. They are comfortable in my hand and I like how my fingers don't get stuck in the handles like my old shears. They are big enough to cut up chicken, but small enough to open small things when needed. I would say for the price, they are perfect.

I needed a pair of shears to cut meat, especially chicken wings. After reading different product reviews, I decided on this pair. Works very well. Sharpness is very good. Good price. Easy to care for. Glad I purchased it

when this item arrived in its leather carry case, I was impressed. Then after using it for various things when I am cooking, I found it to be a HOME RUN, especially when preparing chicken wings. It very easily helped with getting rid of joints I never use anyway. One must be careful with it as it does what it is supposed to do making use of very sharp blades! It might not get used every day but I know it is there for me when I need it and it will do the job!

Bought with another pair as my husband couldn’t choose which ones. I bought both as they were on sale for a great price. The grip is perfect for his hand fit. They are durable and great quality!! Love the black handle. They are sharp and have a sleeve we will use and they lock. The best part they are versatile and all he wanted. Yes he’s spoiled but when he’s putting food on the table and that’s cooking it along with cleaning up, do your man right!! Two pair so one can be with him and one in the kitchen. May buy a few pair for my boys once I see how good they are overall. If I don’t review again all expectations were beyond amazing!!

They're fairly sharp out of package. Fairly easy to spring open and clasps very easy... I just had hand surgery for a cut tendon, so collapsing them easily was going to be target #2. #1 was going to be getting these shears cleaned... No spring! Hallelujah! THE BEST Marketing IDEA ... NO GUNKY JUICE to worry about. The rivet easily springs the shears back open. Fabulous. I don't think they're 100% metal, theres not enough weight.0 I'm not a fan of any sponges or dishrags and the thought of chicken splash or raw Chicken, just gives me so much anxiety. Yes I can soak it but being stainless steel, Clorox WILL RUST it eventually. No I don't want to wash a rag or soak a rag in bleach nightly... The scrubby rags I buy on here are absolutely THE BEST ... But just raw chicken juice traumatizes me. Returning. Id rather use an extremely sharp chefs knife after all

Every kitchen needs these shears. We use them often. Much stronger than plain kitchen scissors.
